@horsesrock1234567100 I have no idea what idea you are trying to convey. If English is not your first language than stay within your comfort level. If it's your first language than that just further reveals to me you lack the ability to absorb and appriciate music with any complexity and ingenuity.
@horsesrock1234567100 I gave your song a chance, and it's the same generic, boring, pop as every other song. This music is insanely complex, revolutionary, innovative. I could go on, but I suspect it's beyond your understanding. I respect your taste in music and I understand that you don't appreciate this, but don't criticize cultured music fans when you're listening to radio garbage. You're making a fool of yourself.
@horsesrock1234567100 however, if you are trolling, bravo, sir, you have been successful. Not just in getting a few people on here mad, but you made me listen to a Cobra Starshit song lol
Language is indeed a tool, however it is beautiful and an art when you carefully look at it. There is a definate loss of art when languages degrade and turn into simple phrases. Also there are languages that can be art, for example chinese characters are art in many forms for example while a certain character means something, the way the person wrote it can show anger happiness, or their own personal style.
@deathislifesway allow me to retort on my asinine remark when i say nigga i mean the higher intellectual resounding notes produced which elevates my colt 45 beverage over as I refer to my hoe how M-eazzy(Mozart) has dem banging ass chords that makes the original man which is I rank him in a cypher of other banging ass beat concoctionist like premo, dre, lexluger and my negro the alchemist . As mentioned in a previous lecture mozart is indeed that nigga and this symphony is a large bow of purp.
I'm going to disagree with those who say this movement is too fast. The menuet in symphonies are highly stylized and since we don't expect people to get up and dance the menuet during the performance, it is totally acceptable to play this at a faster tempo. My general rule of thumb as far as interpretation goes is this: earlier symphonies, I'd take the menuet slower, but past that I'd take it faster and towards the mature symphonies of the classical period, I'd push toward scherzo tempo.
While I find this tempo a somewhat refreshing change of pace, if considered in isolation I think it is too fast. If faced with the choice of taking just one recording onto a ship evacuating a doomed Earth , I would not wish it to be this one.
It's always seemed to me this movement conveys -and was intended to convey- a sense of ponderous momentum, as of someone or something lurching forward in a way that seems to momentarily throw it off balance, but then....
...quickly reestablishing its equilibrium with a grace that shows this was never really in doubt. For this I think there should be a sense of gravity and bulk.
More abstractly, I think there's very strong sense of antithesis, as of two very different onerous alternatives carefully weighed, or some difficult quandary nimbly resolved (note how at 0:59 the voices launch in two completely different directions and yet seem to cohere and converge).
I like this but then i like this movement so much any half-decent rendition seems to give me shivers. Too fast for whom? A courtly/folk dance? Is that really all he wrote this for? The spirit is what matters to me. That said, it does seem uncommonly fashionable to race thru Mozart these days, as if so-called "informed performance" is trying to compensate for the ignorance of the past!
Interesting you say that. This is to me is perhaps Mozart's most contrapuntally ingenious and fascinating work.
Oddly enough, it reminds me of a series of drawings Picasso executed for a monument to Guillame Appolinaire in 1928. There's the same sense of deft juggling in both (anyone who reads this and is curious, search the drawings on Google images and let me know if you agree).
agree with logicape. i had to do a double take when i read that comment. but i believe everyone have their own preferences. anyway, enjoy this piece ^_^
Seems a little faster than I'm used to hearing, but of course as it's Mozart; it's amazing. I love his adaptation of the minuet form and little added codette.
@logicape I don't know why, but when it comes to this piece (especially the first movement), people seem to forget the meaning of allegro. If Mozart says allegro molto, it's because he wants it to be lively and fast, yet I can't tell you how many recordings I've listened to where the tempo in the first movement is so dreadfully slow that it's almost hard to listen to. That may just be my taste, and I SUPPOSE everyone is entitled to their opinion. hahaha

Not talking about what 'allegro' is, just mentioned that it's faster than I'm used to hearing.
It's confusing 2 use '2' in place of to and too. Language is an art - let's not lose it.
