OK SINCE EVERYBODYS ASKING....

1. Tune your guitar to an open chord (open D's my favourite)

2. Harmonics are located at various frets (for example 5th,7th,12th etc)

3. Slap on the fret and you should get a harmonic

U no, I've been going back and forth from this tuning to the "dueling guitars" tuning to standard tuning and in about 1 week after getting brand new guitar, my G string snapped :( idk if I should tell my parents cuz I don't think they'll understand y it snapped in the first place! Does anyone know how much a guitar string costs to have it repaired!?!

@huntergruntetr123 not expensive at all- you can get a full set for $10 or less, or one string for $1+, depending on which string it is. i change my strings every two months, because they tend to rust.

after i saw the august rush i tried this out too, EASY, you just tune the guitar into a whole note, i chose A. not to discredit this guy, he did well! WAY better than justin bierber's attempt, which was not even close to a melody, just more or less playing a congo on an acoustic guitar! lol
