not really a quote but I love the scene at the mother's funeral where his sister is literally begging for Fredo's life and Mike doesn't say one word then goes out to see Fredo and hugs him and then slowly looks up and gives the order for Fredo's death God that scene made the movie for me!! It sent chills up my spine!

Fredo is the "weak link" in the family and he wanted to be the one in charge (he wanted to do something good for the family, not just trivial assignments)... so hyman roth and company use this against the corleone family to get things out of fredo. In the end he orders Al to kill fredo.

Number 3 was just awful, i had never watched it beofre and then my dad says dont bother, it isnt good, i said how could they make it bad, well my dad was right. Even the acting of Al Paccino was horrible, especially the ending when he is on the steps, he looks like he is conctepated.

i must say all gr8 movies get boring with time...who wil watch star wars,citizen cane,gone with wind,lawrence of arabia or jurassic park or evn godfather 2 again n enjoy...they get copied n its too boring to watch thm again....but Godfather 1 is the only movie that stands the test of time....watched it in 2008 n i was so surprised that a 1972 movie could become my favourite of all time,,,absolutely unparrelled
