Hey Mark You Big Goofball!!!!!!!! Love listening and watching you play. I was there when you blew Satriani off the stage. You are indeed a class act and a true inspiration.
Thank God for youtube so I can come get my fix of Mark inspiration every now and then - If you haven't seen Mark live, find the opportunity and the time - it may be your first but won't be your last. Here's to you Mark! - Dave B
mark you are still the king!!!!!!!! incredible my ears are still ringing from the riseing sun in yonkers and my jaw hurts from picking it up off the floor every time u played there with rat race chior.
Yep, I saw these guys in '76 at the Rising Sun too. My 18 year old friend got me in (I was 15). Their 2nd song was The Rover, and Physical Graffiti had just come out 10 days earlier !!! Mark Hitt blew me away since he played it note-for-note ! Hint: His old nick-name is "Direct". Get it ? We used to yell "Direct Hit" at him when he was on stage, just tolet him know his "old" following was still following him. Later in '79, 80-83 was The Hole in the Wall, The Soap Factory, etc. Good old days
Tremendous FEEL. I am a drummer and always wanted to jam with Mark since I saw him in RRC 30 err, hmm...something years ago. Thanks Mark for the great music!
He was in John Entwistle's touring band for a while, right? I know about Rat Race Choir, etc.. I saw him as part of "Hitt and Hungerford" too. Wicked playing!
Mark is an awsome player, I've had the pleasure of watching him play through out the years for almost forty years in total. The Gemini, Rock Palace, Zig Zag club; Yeah Mark is a player.
Sweet, sweet sounding Les Paul. Damn; he is killin that thing huh?
