The performance of Babooshka was cool to see, but the highlight for me was Delius. That's one of my favorite Kate songs, and this clip was beautiful. There are so many of these hidden gems out there. Why, oh why, can't we have some of these on some kind of official, high-quality DVD collection?

Two things:

#1: This was on the UK's official TV channel. While the hosts are American, the production crew was British.

#2: This song was performed *before* the album was finished, and (I believe) before Kate found the Fairlight CMI that she used for sampling.

I think the way she remains somewhat of an enigma who never saturated herself is amazing and intelligent. Her elusiveness and reclusiveness just makes her more beautiful, more respected and very revered.

Interesting to see in that it demonstrates an early costume for the now famous "Chainmail Goddess" outfit for the ultimate Babooshka video. To Kate fans it is highly irritating to watch the Allman Bros (?) talk over Kate in their adolescent sexual excitement, only to introduce the aptly "delicious" and little-seen video for "Delius".
