New!?...well not exactly. We have been playing this down here in Australia for over a decade now
Rules are a bit different
When serving the ball cant hit the back wall on the full
You have to serve anywhere in front of the halfwayline of the court
The ball used has the same dimensions as a normal racquetball but is made of a different compund to make the ball go slower and less bouncy as a conventional ball.
Its a great version andyou get some really long rallies that test your fitness
i'm all for increasing the use of squash courts but where is the exercise? You don't have to run at all. Just wait in the middle until the ball bounces back to you.
Hi Michael, the squash court utilisation has increased to such an extent here that one club is building extra courts and another new club is building a 6 court complex to cope with the demand. As for not running take my word for it you do. you can also take the word of one ex spanish champion player, one ex Davis Cup tennis player and two ex international footballers who all play regularly. Go on give it a try . Cheers.
It´s good that new ideas comes to reality. Just let those who loves "sporting" of all kind, enjoy it.
