It all depends on when bison starts it and it's possible that you'll have to switch from blocking left to blocking right in the middle of it, etc.. Problem with this game was, too many people bitching, moaning, and crying about CPS-1 characters.

Spewing that this game is too "unbalanced" when ALOT of the players are competitive ranging from CE/HF/Super to ST.

This Hyper Anniversary Edition game simply shows how great the earliest Street Fighter II characters were (the AI uses the Grand Masters even better of course haha) before all the ad nauseum and ridiculous tweakings that came thereafter that ironically destroyed the initial sincerity of the series.

World Warrior shows you don't really need petty additions (like the improved range of Ken's shoryuken in Champion Edition) or even a Super to win. Just use earnestness, power and the right execution.

Hyper CE Bison is more overpowered than Bison from original CE. He doesn't only have the scissor trap, but also a crossup psycho (which is retarded and broken). CE Bison might have more block hits, but all that advantage is nullified by the stupid psycho crossups.

Ce. Dictator is good in AE, but he's nowhere near as good as his real CE arcade counterpart.

6-Hits on block Psycho-Crusher, and more importantly, his lockdowns were way more devastating.

Unless they are "harder" to do here in AE, due to the speed. However in CE, if you got locked down, it's ggpo, you just can't get out, there's no room for getting out.

In here Blanka had a split to get out, if it was CE arcade, you would still be block stun.

AE isn't as broken as some of you claim too.

@RiceLUMFAO I have to say this though, CE. Bison does have lopsided matches in AE, however there are matches in which he struggles up against (CE/HF. Ryu, WW, CE, HF. Guile come to mind). This isn't his True Arcade ver. you can actually get out of his lockdowns, if it was exactly like his true CE ver. he would be stupid good.

Unless your Tomo Ohira, you will lose to arcade CE. Bison, however this Bison in AE can be beaten, when played right, I regard CE Ryu, and Guile better then Dictator.

Yes indeed, characters w/ the stated above in SFII will be consistent, however only when played to their "peak", Ryu isn't #1 in HF if you don't have the absolute Top-Tier zoning and footsie.

Sim has always been Sagat's kyrptonite, not just ST. Sim, he just simply made it worse. Back in OG days, good Sim players could do a number on Sagat. I'll be the first to say this, Ce. Ryu played to his peak should not have a "bad" match up at all, at worse 5-5.

you can input super move command -charge b,f,b,f- and hold the last f, (but not pushing button). then any time you push button while walking forward, super will be triggered (as far as i know, chunli and honda can do this. i am not sure if other chars can do that too)

also you can mix up this trick with some moves: i once saw a video where otochun did crouching mk -> then walk little bit, and did super.
