Radio Station WBLS 107.5 New York played this song on their Saturday Nite Jam last week. They start at 7pm eastern 4pm pacific. They play some good ol tunes and are really worth listening to. Im from the West coast but i do dig that East coast sound. I have no affiliation with them other than being a fan. Sorry about the dangling preposition.

I'm bringin a woman, bring me your man!!!! I love the note at 2:45 damn girl hit it. I was 12 when this came out and it still jamz today. 80's R&B was bomb.
I remember seein' this video on New York Hot Tracks,Video Music Box,and U 68 back in either mid or late summer '85 durin' the time when I was a 14 year old kid. Talk about me bein' so very new school back then.

1985 all day!!!!! Great song!!! I actually own this whole album. I remember vividly watching this video on New York Hot Tracks at 11 years old. Dag, take me back!!! This is what I have always LOVED about 60's, 70's and 80's music, the artists looked like REAL people. Remember that?
This, was indeed one of the catchiest songs of the 80's!...1985 to be exact! This song got nearly everyone on the dance floor in the club and the very few that didn't make it to the floor, were at least movin their heads to the beat! This is timeless!!!!!
@epgrove1961 Actually that was by design. These girls did the album to help pay tuition I believe they were going to school in Maryland if I remember correctly. They got the job done! I hope they are successful in what they are doing today!

I have this debut album from 9.9 n I'm now curious to know if they have more hits on there. I love ballads so I'll dig in the crates for it. Also, I used to wonder why the lead bro from the alternative band "Fishbone" was the highlight male interest for this video. I never inquired to know if maybe he produced these soul sisters in the business. I guess I'll find that out once I break this album out n blow off the dust. Fine sisters for sure.

OMG...... i have been searching for this group for a minute and i was listening to Madame X, and i saw it....needless to say im very happy right now. I missed these girls. Thanks for posting. I tell you, nothing like You Tube. Thank God for it. People can really just go back in time and see and listen to favorites that we thought we gone forever. Many thanks to all the people that take the time to even bother to post these videos.
Perry, Thunder and Jones were all friends and students at Madison Park High School, a school in Roxbury, Massachusetts. Thunder was soon signed by Capitol Records in the 1970s and recorded the single, Eventually, they then answered to an ad in the Boston Phoenix and began performing in clubs under the name Thunder, Perry and Jones were backup singers for Joe Frazier. Eventually, the debut album, 9.9, was released in the summer of 1985.
this is still the jam.

OMG...... i have been searching for this group for a minute and i was listening to Madame X, and i saw it....needless to say im very happy right now.
