Osu,people forget, that when you have been training for 2 to 3 hours, it is natural for the body to get tired and sloppy. That is why the stance is high in some cases.I do not belong to this Shotokan organization.I belong to SKIF.We try our best to retain stance after a few hours.
Far to many faults from senior grade's to list, I have 4th & 5th kyu student's with lower stances, better hip's, better foot work, kime, more relaxed, to mention a few. No disrespect, but more kihon needed.
I think that's a better way to judge people. Not everyone is going to be Michael Jordan, but does that mean people should stop playing basketball for fun, casually, or altogether?
Not bad at all,its very similar to my school in tae kwon do.Alittle uneven but that is alot of people, most schools i know of don't have that many students,so thats to be expected. Its alot harder then it looks, trust me.
Nice... same with what i learn in malaysia...

How would an MMA youtube troll control the situation is what you have to ask yourself. They are the best fighting trolls in the world.

Hmm.... Looking at the UFC just as an example...
LHW Champ = Lyoto Machida (Shotokan Karate)
WW Champ = GSP (Kyokushin Karate)
Former LHW Champ = Chuck Liddel (Kempo Karate and Koei-Kan Karate)
Um... they all have karate backgrounds and I'm pretty sure they have "style."
Then again, your sentence isn't even formed correctly.

this is mr mikami, student of gichin f.
he came over early to teach in usa....
the students are alittle rigid....I always thought us shotokan guys needed to relax more.
ive stopped judging skill of practitioners, i judge how many times a week they drag themselves to train.
