  • Awesome gun!!!! Now I know what I'm buying next!

  • if its hidden they wont know its loaded :)

  • Nice shotty. I wrote up how I modded my side saddle to solve this same problem, but I can't paste the link in these comments. go to shotgun world dot com and enter 276160 in the search box

  • looks like you need to click 'forums' before the search window appears, but it works. thread 276160 on shotgunworld

  • Were you able to modify the Tacstar? I have a side saddle already but was interested in buying this stock. Please reply

  • Will this work for an 870 express also?

  • Hey with the folding stock hitting the side shell holder try a 1/4 to 3/8 thick acrylic plastic as a spacer. It should give u anuff room to fold the stock completely and mount the side shell holder properly to the gun

  • Not sure why anybody even needs a folding butt stock, just mount a Laser/ Light on the front cartridge tube, point and shoot. Prefer the Mossberg 500, the soft rubber Hogue grip is awesome, has an additional technology for shock absorption built in the grip. Good on the hands. And also mount an adjustable 2 point shoulder sling w/ swivels. So you can swing it over your shoulder if you change up and go to your pistol. Love the 12g round variety out there.

  • Remington 870 awesome, a American icon, great vid I'm going for the same style with mine

  • Do you know if you can put Ghost Ring Rear Night Sights on it with the ATI?

  • Is this shotgun low/high maintenance, reliability wise, does it jam often?

  • @anonymousguitarguy

The Remington 870 is pretty much the most reliable repeating shotgun you can buy, along with the Mossberg 500 series.

  • Have you shot it with the folding stock on it? It looks like it would hammer your shoulder.

  • Are you looking to buy land so you can farm corn? Cus Ur corny as fuck.

  • Really hidden thats weird you know that they make shotgun rack's for trucks and other off-road vehicles that are mounted above the seat or hanging from the rear window to keep your shotgun and in most states there legal I use them and there great. I would ask a few more people just to make sure . Cause you might be able to keep it on a gun rack.. nice setup by the way shoot it yet..?

  • when he said unloaded, did he mean nothing in it at all or nothing in the chamber

  • Unloaded and out of sight? That sucks here we keep them in the rifle rack in the back window ... usually loaded too.

  • how much did the fold out stock cost?

  • Definitely the best quality video online showing an installed ati top fold on an 870. Thanks!

  • hey, where did you get your ATI folding stock and how's it working for you so far?

  • yeah im thankfull shotguns arent restricted here in canada i can pack mine up and fuckin cruise with it, same rules tho, unloaded and out of site in a case

  • Is " Remington 870 Home Defence" the name of that 870 model? And cost if i can ask?

  • thats very similar to the setup i want to have when i get around to finishing mine.. i'd also want a tac light :)

  • do you think this stock could be used with a bird barrel? the bead on a bird barrel is set much lower to the barrel

  • this gun looks ballin as hell

  • ATI Folding Stock is shit!!!!!! love the 870

  • my opinion i would have left it stock with a mesa side saddle but i understand wanting it to be compact nice shotgun

  • Love the 870, very smooth action. I have seen some feedback about individuals having problems with that ATI stock. It is nice 2 have that option for folding especially for dismounting from a vehicle.

  • so did you get the side saddle modified?

whats the stock made out of? looks like plastic, aluminum or steel?

  • That's a mean looking weapon

  • Put the side saddle on and return the rest of that ATI crap

  • @prc77509 I agree.

  • when you finish you box for your 4runner would u mind doing a vid on it

  • @scubafool123 No problem!

  • @northwestprepper : Are those batteries in the shell holders lol?

  • You shouldn't rely on what an officer says about gun laws, even if you personally know them. Look into it further on your own if you cant contact a lawyer or call your local NRA affiliate. Alot of police officers are not as familiar with the law as we'd expect and ignorance of the law is no excuse when your in front of the judge.

  • @MrDeathstyle Ok Ok people I checked the law and he is correct. You can have a gun in your car as long as it is hidden out of site and unloaded.

  • @northwestprepper in texas we can have it loaded

  • @MrDeathstyle I totally agree its much the same in Canada, police dont fully know the laws theyre trying to enforce.... it leads to a bunch of wasted money and time...

  • The Remington 870 is a great shot gun. If I was you I would keep the original stock on it and and add a fullsize side saddle. Check out the web site, vangcomp. com for some of the best upgrades, I recommend the xs big dot front site, the big dot safety and the upgrade mag tube, spring and follower.

  • i pretty sure threes no law that says you cant keep a loaded gun in your home, or you have to keep it hidden. iv met many cops here in washington that don't know the law about a lot of things they just know what they are told to know. if you dont have kids keep that thing loaded at all times and in plain sight and easily accessible.

  • @piketyl000 Never said anything about my house. I said in the car....
