It is no great secret that neither the PS3 or 360 can present games in native 1080p(they both lack the ram) But the upscale,360 upscales from a native 720p whilst PS3 upscales from slightly above 480/512p, so thats why when you see games looking sharper on 360,its because 360 is upscaling from a higher res than the PS3.Deos this explain just why there is that many 1080p for Ps3? Like upscaling to 1080 from such a low source is offering dimiusing returns..so upscale to 720p? It makes sense 2 me..

I do play PSN. I play Street Fighter 4 and CoD:WaW. I only get minor lag, and its a free service. Unlike 360, where u do get more lag for a paid service.

It uses a remote, with infrared sensors, how is that anything like using a camera? Like I said, theres no such thing as taking ideas from other companies, the concept of a motion camera has been around for ages, Sony doesn't own it, no one took it from them, MS just took a concept and made it technologically superior to a previous adaptation of the concept.
Microsoft did have a solid showing. Other than Project natal, nothing huge. Nintendo was a let down. Sony had a great showing though. Even without the PSP Go! they still suprised me. This might finally be the year Nintendo gets dethroned. Go SONY!!!

the 360 cant cope with mgs4 dumbass..thats why mgs4 isnt coming to the 360, it'd probably take 4 or 5 discs...metal gear is coming to the 360 too, but starting from kojima's next project metal gear rising..

But if you had read enough on the subject, you would realise that the PS3 has to resort to copying data on a disk or to the hard drive simply because of Blurays slowness from the outset, making the extra disk space irrelevant.
lol, the extra disc space is not irrelevant, and you will see what i mean they release ff13 on both consoles, ps3 only comes with one disc and the 360's will need 5 or more...theres a reason why kojima is bringing mgs to microsoft starting from rising and not mgs4..mgs4 uses the full 50gb of the ps disc, meaning if mgs4 was ported to the 360, it would take 6 discs since 1 dvd disc only holds 8gbs.

I dont know what you are talking about, christmas time last year the 360 sold almost 900,000 world wide where as PS2 only sold 300,000. Even as of now, 360 is still selling almost 3 times as many vs PS2 and still beating PS3. First of all the wii DOESNT use a camera does it? Secondly, this isnt just any camera, it tracks your body as if it was a 3D object. It detects the slightest movement, the curvature of your fingers, the exact position of every element of your body in time and space. You can speak to it and it doesnt pick up keywords, but understands what your saying, it knows when your happy or angry.

You could command your soldiers with voice, and they would be able to react to your emotion, or the intonation in your speech....you wouldnt have to use key words like 'Cover" "defend" "attack", you could speak freely and they would understand.
This technology is FAR more than just waving your hands around.

no what the eye toy does, is it picks up motion on screen for casual games, and for the more demanding eye toy games, it requires motion sensors, like the foam sword for example, whereas, project NATAL senses a persons movement detecting limb movement in much the same way as a motion capture suit used in game development, and also has face recognition and also voice recognition which is more developed than Endwar's.

Metal Gear with Raiden just isn't cool, MGS2 proved this and no matter how badass Raiden was in MGS4 he just isn't Snake or Big Boss. Dissapointing stuff really, clearly it'll be a multiplat game though, since they developed the engine on PS3 they'll have a headstart on putting it on there. But truthfully... without Snake I don't think I am all that interested. Maybe some time down the line after it is released when I can pick it up real cheap.

Microsoft did have a solid showing. Other than Project natal, nothing huge. Nintendo was a let down. Sony had a great showing though. Even without the PSP Go! they still suprised me. This might finally be the year Nintendo gets dethroned. Go SONY!!!

the only reason you pull the whole disk memory card is because your disks have a higher capacity correct? But if you had read enough on the subject, you would realise that the PS3 has to resort to copying data on a disk or to the hard drive simply because of Blurays slowness from the outset, making the extra disk space irrelevant.

lol, the extra disc space is not irrelevant, and you will see what i mean they release ff13 on both consoles, ps3 only comes with one disc and the 360's will need 5 or more...theres a reason why kojima is bringing mgs to microsoft starting from rising and not mgs4..mgs4 uses the full 50gb of the ps disc, meaning if mgs4 was ported to the 360, it would take 6 discs since 1 dvd disc only holds 8gbs.

I dont know what you are talking about, christmas time last year the 360 sold almost 900,000 world wide where as PS2 only sold 300,000. Even as of now, 360 is still selling almost 3 times as many vs PS2 and still beating PS3. And yes sales mean something, it shows consumer preference, the more of one unit sold the better online experience you will have playing a game because there will be more people online.... Obviously the consumers voice is loud and clear. NUFF SAID.

Pretty much same with me, I'm only interested in conviction. But as for MGSR, kojima is working on it, and since Raiden is way faster than snake, I can imagine much faster gameplay and action than MGS4.

First of all the wii DOESNT use a camera does it? Secondly, this isnt just any camera, it tracks your body as if it was a 3D object. It detects the slightest movement, the curvature of your fingers, the exact position of every element of your body in time and space. You can speak to it and it doesnt pick up keywords, but understands what your saying, it knows when your happy or angry.

thats not the point, Im sure the option to use a controll will remain. The technology isnt just about motion. It can recognise when your impatient, angry, happy. You could command your soldiers with voice, and they would be able to react to your emotion, or the intonation in your speech....you wouldnt have to use key words like 'Cover" "defend" "attack", you could speak freely and they would understand.
This technology is FAR more than just waving your hands around.

no what the eye toy does, is it picks up motion on screen for casual games, and for the more demanding eye toy games, it requires motion sensors, like the foam sword for example, whereas, project NATAL senses a persons movement detecting limb movement in much the same way as a motion capture suit used in game development, and also has face recognition and also voice recognition which is more developed than Endwar's.

Microsoft didn't 'steal' the eyetoy, how can you steal the idea of using a camera for motion? People have being doing that for years. Metal Gear with Raiden just isn't cool, MGS2 proved this and no matter how badass Raiden was in MGS4 he just isn't Snake or Big Boss. Dissapointing stuff really, clearly it'll be a multiplat game though, since they developed the engine on PS3 they'll have a headstart on putting it on there. But truthfully... without Snake I don't think I am all that interested. Maybe some time down the line after it is released when I can pick it up real cheap.
