you should convert a large amount of your cobblestone into higher materials so you don't have such a resources problem. i would also suggest making a cobblestone generator paired with a rp2 block breaker to make even more higher level materials (384 cobblestone>96 clay blocks>16 iron bars>4 gold bars>1 diamond) there. no more diamond/gold problems. ;-)

@direwolf20 I set my water pumps in a similar way once before and they ended up going dry because they would occasionally pull from one anothers well so sometimes it would pull 2 from the same well making that one no longer an infinate spring. Just an FYI, I fixed it by stacking the wells.

dire awesome btw, but wanted to say if u have 4 condensers and 5 glowstone allocaters you can have three turning blocks of diamond up to dark matter the 4th makes enough blocks of diamond to fuel the other 3 with blocks of daimond and supplies itself with daimond to make more blocks :P i made it with logistics pipes and it works gr8

You really should group your engines in groups of 5, that's how much energy most BC machines need to run at full speed, everything but the pump.

For a temporary solution to your energy shortage you can pump of lava from below into a tank, then use a deployer with buckets on the tank to get lava buckets, put those lava buckets in a geothermal generator by using either a filter or retriever to only get the filled buckets, and there you have 20 EU/t.

Direwolf, you ought to set up a RedPower T-flip-flop system for your Combustion Engines. With this, you could have a button for each set of 3 engines and you could also set up a Wireless Redstone network whereby you could use the Wireless Remote from that same mod to activate them while away from your base.

@dragan176 tin cables can handle up to 5 EU/frame. The panels are producing 20 packets of 1 EU, as far as the cables are concerned. If he were to use a batbox to combine then try to use tin cables, it would melt them.

what if you where to connect some maseraters and furnaces into your logistics pipe system with crafting pipes so that it can turn cobble into sand and sand into glass so that you have no more glass problems with 6k cobble floating around. Also when you get a fabricator, you can make some auto crafters with some of its new recipes like the glow-stone recipe (and maby a redpower block reminer thing with satilite pipes?).

Also, you should always carry an item teleport pipe, and a logistics pipe. That way whenever you are working somewhere, you don't have to walk all the way back to your retriever, but you can just plonk the logistics pipe and teleport pipe down, and request from them.

Direwolf I don't know if you know this but the IC2 team recently changed the way that you get iridium plates so now it takes 4 times as much uu matter for one iridium plate! Thumbs up so he can see :)

I'd eventually like to see you make a wind farm WAY up around layer 100 or so. You certainly have enough tin for wires; I'm just not sure about the energy loss (1 every 20 or so?). No matter, it would be a good auxiliary power source for the nighttime (if you're planning on running a mass fabricator).

Also, do you have the Buildcraft Bucket-filler add-on installed? Because that makes geothermal generators SO much more useful. Plus it's 10EU/t in an automated system.

Have a BC Pump pumping lava from somewhere, connect a bucket filler, connect that to a Geothermal Generator, then loop it back to the filler, No clicking required... until the lava runs out, then you'll have to move the pump. But that shouldn't be for a while! Geothermal Generators stop running when the energy has nowhere to go and don't take fuel until it can be fully utilized.

@Nippe0000 luminators. Yes, they do exist now. Personally, though, I'd go with redpower light blocks. No energy usage (just a redstone signal), any dye color for the block itself, and IMHO they look better, too.

I have found some kind of bug, when ever I enter certain chunks, I get extreme lag spikes, and thanks to minecraft debug menu (F3) I have isolated the problem to sound. (Btw, its not my PC, I run minecraft on far with 600 fps low) I believe this issue is related to industrialcraft. I have tried installing several version of optifine to fix the lag spike of doom, but none worked. If anyone knows how to fix this please tell me. Thank You. (Amazing vids Direworlf! @Gen0Granger09 Tin cable can only support energy PACKETS of 5EU/t. Since solar panels only produce 1 EU packets, it's fine. You could have thousands of solar panels on a tin cable.

Hey DWolf, I'm not 100% sure if you are using cobble in your recyclers, as it would take far too long to parse all of your epic (in every sense of the word) footage of your LP. If you are, you can use logistics pipes to turn the cobble to 4 dirt via PStone to fuel your recyclers, QUADRUPLING your scrap yield. Anyways, great series so far, and I hope to enjoy more of it!

@jkxzgyk It means 5 eu/t Packets. Every solar panel has its own individual 1 EU packet it spits out every tick, and even though there are 20 EU/t total, it's in 1 EU/t packets so it's fine.
