Actually, she DID try to make it in mainstream America with the song "do you want my love" and also released a new album in America sometime in the late 90s. She marketed herself as much as she could all over TV (I remember her performing the song live on good morning america) and "before I fall in love" was in the Runaway Bride soundtrack. But even after all of that she never made it big here. Too bad. I was a big fan when I was excited but I guess the US wasn't really receptive.
