  • Mine doesn't add up :/

  • also for the 36 dislikes ur all just haters or for people that didn't take this video seriously

  • Wow this guy can explain this to me perfectly under a few seconds of my time then again i'm stuck with a teacher who cant explain me this in all three months incredible I really wish u are my teacher right now

  • I showed my daughter your video and she learned it in less than two days! God bless you :)

  • a good short explanation of how to 'decompose' that -15 into the requisite factors such that their sum is 2. This works when the coefficient of x^2 is 1.

  • cheers pal :)

  • I LOVE YOU no homo

  • wow best teacher I've never had!

  • He explains so much better than my teacher.

  • Man, this guy is amazing

  • thx soo much!

  • what about insted of it being x^2+bx-c its X^2-bx+c ?

i am reall confused my problem is X^2-22x+21

i dont want the answer givin to me thought i need it explaind like in this vidio

  • @hoathton i don't know if this will help... but keep in mind a negative multiplied by a negative equals a positive and the idea is to have two numbers multiply to c and add up to b. one of these numbers can be 1.

  • @Seiseii actully that help a lot thank you i guess i just wasent thinking about the negitrive time a negitve

  • @hoathton ... find two numbers whose product is +21 and whose sum is -22. Two negatives multiplied give a postive. Here, 21 = -21 times -1, and their sum is ... -22 ... !

  • Thank you

  • Bout damn time somebody does a good job explaining somethin,

  • wow iv been getting F's on my test my teacher literally cant teach because in the 1 minutes and 55 seconds of this video i understand the crap and im getting an A on my quiz tomorrow.

  • Thank you for this tip. This helped me so much lol!

  • @yourteachermathhelp

    i'd totally fuck you

  • @imanrox1 I don't think he's comfortable with that considering most people watching these are in high school.

  • @ScaryMonstahh

what does that have to do with anything

  • @imanrox1 Pedophilia my friend.

  • thanks a lot!

now im doing my homework faster and easier

than anybody else in my class!

  • 240p and my computers still lagging... omfg.

  • @gta4sergio

cool story bro if you wanted a thumbs up you got a thumbs down

  • man i understand it all under 3mins and can just replay it again and again this is so awesome thanks dude!

  • wow this is fuckin hilariouis. I fail every math quiz and math test i am given, and i have my bitchy math teacher always telling me tocome in after school to redo tests and shit so she can help me. So i give it a shot and i fail my retake quiz's and test's. After I watched this video math makes 100% sense. I always thought i was stupid in math but it seems my math teacher is the stupid one. I can sleep in my math class from now on, cause ill just watch your vids and learn from a pro. TY!!

  • @Nonlethal106

I think you come to class high buddy, if the teacher has a teaching degree she is approved by the ITA and has a teaching licence unless your homeschooled by your mom the teacher teaching you is approved and knows how to teach. You just have to learn how to listen.

  • @comment69873 have never done any drugs in my life. And im not the only one, alot of people have no idea what she is talking about and she gets confused when she explains how to do a math problem.

  • @comment69873 Yeah, some people learn differently, some people cant just listen to a teacher for 1 hour and get it. There are 4 different ways of learning and of course we all learn in 1 of those 4 ways.

  • wow......

  • Saved my life I would had never guessed it :D

  • I GOT IT RIGHT?? WHATTT!

  • How does he get +5 , -3?

  • @ToNy141424 +5 and -3 are the factors for your last term which is 15 (5*-3=15) you want those numbers to add up to get your second term which is just the number 2.(5+(-3)=2)

    hope i helped =)

  • really? I have to watch a fucking advertisement for help on school. -___________________-

  • i learned a different way with some kind of chart

  • why cant any of my math teachers be this clear!!!!

  • @koolwater97 same here!!! my teachers a freaking moron -.-

  • Thanks!!!! Couldn't be any easier

  • How can people dislike a 45min lesson in 2mins?

  • Sunday night madness is solved. clase de matematicas es muy dificil.

  • @Kingkoala232 Thumbs up!

  • 4-20 likes on this video!

  • YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER! In my Geometry class we are reviewing Algebra, but I totally forgot how to do this. My teacher didn't even teach us, he just gave us the worksheet and assigned it for homework. Thanks to you, now I can get an A+ on my worksheet ^.^

  • I feel like crying now!

  • OHMYGOD. THANK YOU. I WAS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO FOR 4 HOURS.... And i look at this 2-minute video and now i completely understand.

  • I bet they can do this a whole lot faster than we can lol

  • I can outsmart most people in a situation where strategy is involved, but I can't do the simple thing of understanding my algebra 2 teacher's gibberish! It's like shes speaking in Chinese!!!

  • Same here!!!!!!!!!! Except I only have 45min in class :P

  • yeah this doesnt help me for 9y^2-252y+1188 :C

  • THANK YOU! I completely forgot how to do this when i learned in 8th grade. Im a freshman taking algebra 2 with trig and my teacher makes it SO confusing.

  • This is called "single cross method" as well, but instead of grouping, you draw a large "x" on you papel by the equation and it makes you look all smart- like and the suchness! Hahah, anyway THANKYOU ONEC AGAIN!

  • @cutiecookie23 Yeah we use that too , it's sooooo much easier ! haha.

  • why u choose +5.-3 it is the same thing as -5.+3 can i get the answer for that thanku i hope u get my messege

  • @anegas43

    wow lol

  • @anegas43 no 5 + -3 = 2.....-5 + 3 = -2....two completely different answers....think of it as money...with one answer you have 2 dollars in your pocket....with the other you are in debt 2 dollars.

  • Thank you so much my teacher was explaining this so vaguely and the lesson just dragged on and on now I understand

  • thank you so much! You taught it to us in less than 2min when my teacher at school took 1/4 of the class... very helpful

  • Trial and error takes to dang long.... The ac method works brilliantly.

  • Fuck math. Fuck salt.

  • @EchelonShibs what? :D

  • 10 million times better than any bullsh*t teacher at my school.

    you helped me so much

  • @skittlez3132 I know everyone should be just given an ipad and a worksheet and the teacher could just sit there and watch...

  • @skittlez3132 Right! I won't fail my exam now!

  • OMFG Why Can't You Be My Math Teacher Your Awesome Keep Up The Good Work! =D

  • what if the first term is a constant? like 35 + 2a - a^2 (equation from my book)

  • @Anne2597 The order of the terms has nothing to do with it. Rearrange it like -a^2 + 2a + 35 = 0. Now you just have to FOIL like normal, but keep in mind the negative in front! So, what multiplies to -35 (multiply the outer and last constant), and adds up to 2 (the middle terms constant). Well, 7 and -5 do. But (a+7)(a-5) will not satisfy the negative out front. SO switch the sign in the (a-5) term, and add a negative to the (a+7) to get (-a+7)(a+5) which equals -a^2 + 2a + 35. So a = 7, -5. :)

  • @Anne2597 It won't matter.

  • V haha yes he does look like Freddie!

  • I love you. Tysm

  • You just saved my life!!!! Thank you so much!! : D

  • 31 math teachers watched this!

  • 0:40

    Haha he drew boobies. ;3

  • @imphlatround how imature

  • @kohkoh4 It's immature that you can't pick up on some simple ironic humor, and also that you spelled "immature" wrong in the process.

  • @imphlatround I'm assuming that's why your here hahaha

  • this guy looks like freddy from icarly!

  • Lol at the creepy stare at the end :D

  • Are you kidding me? This is ridiculously easy. I'm looking for when the first one is more than 1, like if it was 5x^2 + 2x - 18 or something

  • It feels like this is headed toward the making of a porno..

  • this guy has a really boring tone of voice... so monotone

  • 1:54 commited a indecent crime.

  • Public school - 0

    Internet - 1

  • Videos like this on YouTube make being an online student so easy. This video taught me exactly what I needed to know in about 2 minutes and I can get my work done. While, in public school, a teacher would lecture us for 30 minutes about it and we'd have 30 minutes to do our work, and half the class is so burned out from doing the examples, they don't want to do it.

  • His look at the end says "Oh yea baby! I did it" 1:52 check it out

  • omfg i get it I GET IT wtf dude ur the man. ty

  • School sucks....good thing I got YouTube.

  • fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck

thumbs up so people watching this in school can see

  • wow...I think it's really sad that I learn more about math and science on youtube than i do at school

    thanks a lot XD

  • These factoring are too easy.. If you want to learn how to factor complex expression such as exponent that are higher than 2... Go to this guy channel. watch?v=svlVJb8lh9Y Trust me, you're going to question yourself how to factor complex expression.

  • Like honestly if we had an option to take school over youtube I would. That was simple an to the point, my teacher is from the Phillipeens (or however you spell it) and you can not understand him and he does the problems himself on the board. I live in America.... This helped me finish my HW in literally 10 minutes. I love you Mr.Youtube Teacher <3

  • instead of 1hr in class spending my time frustrated and confussed. 2mins on here and now i'm teaching my lil cousin it without confussion. WAY TO GO!

  • try to puase and play then hold on 8. you can see him touching the b**bs multiple times. Try X:DDD

  • @WarjaM24 Retard.

  • THANK. YOU.

  • WHAT.

I was pulling my hair out in class trying to figure these out and you teach it to me in less than 2 minutes.

  • You are my hero....

  • you're god.

  • @cocoaliya Because spelling is essential in life.

  • this helped me pass a part of the asvab... thank you...xD

  • How is this so easy? It's fucking brain surgery in 3rd block!

  • @cocoaliya because you cant spell school

  • Youtube?

Yeah, I'd be failing school without it.

  • WOW thanx dude

  • Holy shit, this guy might actually help me pass my test tomorrow. Pshh that extra 1hr an a half after skool was a total waste.

  • @ZeroKillcams

    > skool

    yep it probably was

  • Comment removed

  • thank you so much! this is clear and to the point. i couldn't understand this in class but now i can! :D

  • Thank u helps alot keep up the good work

  • THANK YOOOUUU. :D

  • sooo.... what if there's a coefficient in front of x squared?

  • @knaliprice97 times the coefficient by the end number....so say if the question was 2x^2+2x-15 you would times 2 (the coeff) by -15 to give -30. then look for two numbers that add to give +2 (because of the middle coeff) and times to give -30...which sadly in this case is impossible due to the poor example i gave you ;D

  • @lazer1235 thanx sooo much. that really helped :D

  • OH MY JESUS!! 2 minutes and I finally understand!!

  • why cant teachers figure this out?

  • this is sooo easy!!! my teacher last year had terrible methods! thanks.. saved me on my summer math packet :D

  • ...WE learn how to do this in 2 ways in school. Both take way too long. This takes less than 2 minutes and is way easier. WHY COULDN'T WE HAVE LEARNED THIS WAY??? very good job!

  • y didnt my teacher just use dis method...cul

  • OMG! So much simpler and so much Beautiful! ;p

  • stupid summer homework

  • THANK YOU (:

  • I'm in college algebra (math 103) and I have over 100 problems for homework and this just made my life like a BILLION times easier. Thank you! :)

  • I bet this stuff gets this guy laid....a lot.

  • Thank you. I'm taking algebra 2 and forgot lol

  • @Luigi53789 me too. :P

    double lol

  • thanks for that sweet and simple

  • THANKYOU :)

  • thanks.

  • thanks u helped a lot

  • hehe. the parenthasees and the the two xs look like boobs. jk thanks i needed to be reminded of this

  • thanks!

  • i know where i will be going to study for my math exams

  • wow maybe i would have passed my cpt today if i fucking watched this. god damn it.

  • Lol, thanks. I learned this in algebra 1, forgot it in geometry, and now I know it again. :)

  • i love you. my teacher never taught us this (at least, not well.) thank you so much.

    you make math seem easy

  • i love how he stares at the camera in the end like "yeah thats right I know everything"

  • youtube makes school look like a joke

  • @AoAstar the one we pay taxes to keep running XD

  • You don't go to school to learn, that's what Youtube is for.

No, school is for building social skills. Plain and simple.

  • Do trinomial factoring has to be in order? Like (x + 5) (x - 3) can be written as (x - 5) (x + 3) because logically multiplication answers can be in any order like 5 x 3 or 3 x 5... please reply

  • @Beardactal thats exactly it u can factor trinomial in any order

  • Comment removed

  • thanks!! You helped me on my assignment!!

  • Awesome!

  • orgasm at 1:35

  • YOUTUBE HAS IT ALL! (with the power of the youtubers)

  • What if it was a positive???

  • Comment removed

  • The way the teacher stands back after showing us how to solve the equation is fucking badass.

  • please anyone can explain me the method at 1:30

  • @TheDevilvivek To find the constants in the two binomials, you need to factor the constant in the original trinomial. In this case, that constant is (-15). There are four pairs of factors which can make (-15); they are the four pairs he started listing at 1:10. To find the correct constants to be used in your answer, you must use the pair of factors which, added together, gives the coefficient of, in this case, (+2x). The coefficient is (+2), and the pair which adds to that is (+5) + (-3).

  • @BahSpaceHumbug1988 thanks space

  • @TheDevilvivek No problem.

  • how do you factor 9x^2y^3-3x^y^2-15xy?? O_o

  • thank you! I was looking at me teacher like WTH ARE U TALKING ABOUT?! when she was trying to explain it to me for 20 min. You succeeded in having me know it in 1:55 min. U ARE GOD!

  • @sasuke82naruto bullshit? im doing this in 9th grade?!?!?

  • WHOS READY FOR THE REGENTS !!

  • That first statement is not always true, though, in this case, it happens to be.

  • You're so much better than my teachers!

  • what id the first term is to a power other then 3

  • I am in special ed and I understood this.

  • I have an algebra final tomorrow lol.

Thumbs up if you go to Hickman.

  • wow excellent! but could you be more enthusiastic? :D

  • I'm in Calculus and this helped :D

  • ahhhh thanks so much. YEAH, YOU CAN CALL ME A LOSER FOR WATCHING A MATH VIDEO ON YOUTUBE, BUT AT LEAST I'M GONNA PASS MY ALGEBRA FINAL TOMORROW:)

  • Work at Melvin H. Kreps Middle School!

  • WORK AT BUSH MIDDLE SCHOOL

  • I like this teacher. simple and to the point. when my teacher goes on and explains every little thing he confuses me and makes me lose my focus.

  • i think my teacher is okay...could be better if we stooped being little devils. :P

  • Why can't my teacher be more simple like this -.-

  • thank you so much i dont learn shit from my teacher can you PLEASE replace her??
