yo i remember getting mad about this game, and not being able to get anywhere for a hot minute. me and a homey used to laugh about the noise you would make when you got shot "ehhhh" i remember a few times i was killin it though. but the shit was boring than a mug...the game was not that tight, contra was a good game. this? not so much.

The NES version paled in comparison to the C64 version, yes it was hard, but if you played the C64 version you'd simply have the better port with the better-quality music, better visuals, and a creepier knife-weilder in the tunnel system level :P

Can't say anything about the NES version, but I played Platoon on Apple computer, and it was very hard as a kid, but even that was better than this one.
