The Greek word for "tribulation" means persecution. The Bible says all that desire to live godly will suffer persecution. Rev. 12:12 states that Satan is the one persecuting the church during the 7 year tribulation, not God. God's wrath is at the end of the 7 year tribulation.

Isaiah 26:19 refers to the "day of the Lord" This is not the 7 year tribulation period. God's wrath will be pured out and the wicked punished near the end of the 7 year tribulation period. "Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty." Isaiah 13:6 "Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and He shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it." Isaiah 13:9

Brother Perry Stone has made the same mistake that Hal Lindsey and Grant Jeffrey have made. They are confusing the 7 year tribulation period (which occurs before Jesus returns to set up His kingdom on this earth) with the "day of the Lord" which the Bible states begins with the wrath of God upon the unbelievers. There is nowhere in the Bible that states Christians will not go through tribulation (see Acts 14:22). The Bible states that Christians will not have to experience the "wrath of God".

Only these are mentioned in the new heaven, however where is the pre-trib saints and numbers in John's Rev which is the end of all things?

The rapture is not even an event in 1 Thess 4. The major events in the passage in the order of importance are:
1. The return of the Lord.
2. Resurrection of the righteous
3. Living saints' bodies changed in the twinkling of an eye to eternal body.
4. Rapture, not really an event but just a means of transport to meet the Lord in the air.

Sorry brother but there is no pre-rapture. it clearly states that we will be caught up at the LAST TRUMP. There are even many more scriptures that tell us we will have to go through it but in Thessalonians says it clear enough that it will be at the LAST TRUMP. Just wanted to say that if you're talking about the Scripture that says the angels will gather people from the four winds of the earth at the end of the Tribulation, it's not talking about the Church. During the Tribulation, the Church is a non factor. The focus is on Israel my friend. We must take special care to read each verse thoroughly and in context.

If you think they are not individual people and go off on some hookey theology that they are some kind of church then that is wrong. The church is gone before the trib, that's why God sends his two witnesses. If the church was still around then He wouldn't need to send them. They both are murdered and when the muslims refuse them burial, after 3 1/2 days God resurrects them in full view of the world.

The rapture is near the end of the 7 year tribulation period. See my videos for proof from the Bible. Perry states that the time of tribulation is the same as the time of God's wrath. This is false. The Greek word for "tribulation" means persecution. The Bible says all that desire to live godly will suffer persecution. Rev. 12:12 states that Satan is the one persecuting the church during the 7 year tribulation, not God. God's wrath is at the end of the 7 year tribulation.

Isaiah 26:19 refers to the "day of the Lord" This is not the 7 year tribulation period. God's wrath will be pured out and the wicked punished near the end of the 7 year tribulation period. "Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty." Isaiah 13:6 "Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and He shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it." Isaiah 13:9

I consider myself a pan-tribulationist-regardless of when it happens doesn't change the fact that God is in control and will protect His children. I've never found evidence that Jesus was speaking of Israel in Matthew 24. Others feel the 1967 war is the starting point and not 1948- that's why it's not for us to know it causes needless bickering. I long to see Jesus but hope for more time because there are still millions who do not know Christ

Brother Perry Stone has made the same mistake that Hal Lindsey and Grant Jeffrey have made. They are confusing the 7 year tribulation period (which occurs before Jesus returns to set up His kingdom on this earth) with the "day of the Lord" which the Bible states begins with the wrath of God upon the unbelievers. There is nowhere in the Bible that states Christians will not go through tribulation (see Acts 14:22). The Bible states that Christians will not have to experience the "wrath of God".

also Read 2nd Thes 2:1-3 (The Day of the Lord). Read the whole book of Revelation and see if you can find a group description coming out of the world before tribulation. There is no description, however there is of one coming out of the GREAT TRIBULATION Rev 7:9-14, and then the beheaded Rev 20:4-5. Only these are mentioned in the new heaven, however where is the pre-trib saints and numbers in John's Rev which is the end of all things?

@TommysToe2 In the NT they new, were ready for Christ to return THEN any day. If any of you think the church will go through the trib.. you need to do the WORD. That is be ready TODAY! Watch and pray.. dont run out of oil, dont let your fire go out. Or the thief will come and like NOW you have been told to BE READY TODAY! Dont think about tomorrow. Watch and PRAY. SEEK HIM!

@Dosblade Nothing against Perry, but consider what the bible says about the word. It will be understood by humble people. To have to dig into the scripture to find when Christ is coming back, is only proof they don't know the truth. Jesus is not hiding anything. Mathew 24:29 is simple and from Christ's mouth to his Apostles and anyone reading it. the description of dark sun and dark moon is the "DAY OF THE LORD"

WOW so many people are so quick to judge. What qualifies them as judges? Not God. But God will judge according to their own measure.

@marsxpander Nothing against P.Stone but there will always be folk who dont agree totally with him , Saying these folks are judgeing is not it at all. We all have a right to disagree.Even Perry can diagree with us. but once he put up post on public forum,,He opens a possibility of someone disagreeing, Which is not the same as judgeing.we must all judge what we beleive as right or wrong.

When Jesus come the good go and the evil dies, Satan is left here with only his lies, after a 1000 years the new city comes down and the king of king puts his feet on the ground, The evil are awaken from the 1000 year nap just to find out just where they are at. Judgment does not look to good for them you see, they all disappointed when they drop to there knee. With one last cry for the father of lies they all rush for the city and then they are fried.
