ive been a metal gear fan as long as i can remember. this movie proves less is more sometimes. ok maybe the acting needs sharpening up at times but, compared to the guff hollywood have made of my childhood heroes, this stands up well

Good work, though Snake is a bit corny in this. He jabbers on too much. The only time Snake talks THAT much is at the end of the games, when he's wrapping up the story with some deep, meaningful narration. It's like they are trying to stick that deep meaningful narrator in every other damn scene in this movie. They're over-exaggerating the real Snake. This one is overly talkative, overly shady and overly serious and pissy.

I have to admit, Snake's attitude (especially when he's speaking with Elizabeth) in this fan-made film is consistent with that from the ORIGINAL, 1998 Metal Gear Solid game for the Play Station--sorry, no offense Twin Snakes fans. I have been a Metal Gear fan since 10 years. I must say, that this is an absolutely perfect video. Other hollywood films like Tomb Raider and Resident Evil have done crap. Acting is perfect accept Gibson's/Otacon in this movie. Also, Snake had a good humor and wasn't serious always. He's too serious in this one. But, this is a perfect movie! Snake was a soldier and used to do every sort of mission types before MGS scene. It's in his history, cold war and Gulf war
