could some1 tell me if your brake works better with a stright cable instead of a gyro?

i think it does...others would argue...but i thinks its cuz a straight cable tends to have less give than a bunch of gyro components...some would say just the opposite; its because of the components that it wont give as much...they apply the same logic as a 2 piece hub guard... a 2 piece doesnt bend like a 1 piece...any ways, it also depends on the brake arms themselves...lower end brakes often flex, decreasing braking power,while better quality brakes are designed to eliminate flex as a factor

no you have to replace a whole piece cable more times than you have to with a gyro bu i have worked at a bike shop for 4 years and i prefer no brakes

on 25/9 gearing you can use your normal chain, but aparently 25/9 puts more pressure on the chain so it is probably good to upgrade it to somethin like a kmc kool chain
