This actually isn't a scam, it's more like gambling than an auction. By the time the auction ends for a $250 product the company ends up earning $1000 on bids + whatever the final selling price is. I've won one auction and ended up coming out even. It's just a very cleverly set up operation, they sell electronic bids, collect that money and then buy Amazon products and ship the item from Amazon directly to your address, never even owning it themselves to begin with.
