Good ideas, but I don't see why everyone is wishing for Super Smash Bros. DS, I mean, IMO, the DS just won't be as fun, because, it wouldn't be as easy to play two player (3 and 4, as well). Also the DS won't be able to hold as much data, take Mario Party DS for example, fun, but worst Mario Party IMO, don't get mad at me, these are my opinions. But still, great ideas.

I think this game should be called "Super Smash Bros. DSi", because the DSi is more powerful then the DS Lite, it makes sense and they might announce it at Nintendo E3 2009 (IGN AU gave it a 60% chance of being announced, relatively high, especially since Brawl is out of the way). the only reason it seems early, is because... IT IS TOO EARLY. the game hasnt even been a year since its release. and sakurai says that hes probably not going to make another smashbros, but if he was, the last thing hed do is make it fatter. this videos ideas is a prime example of that. besides, nintendo is a company, they dont have to listen to the fans. all they care about is making excellent games, selling them, and getting tons of money. theyd never be controlled by a bunch of fans

Marth is one of the most overused Character's. You can't take him out Xats. Ok, no Krystal. Either keep Wolf and give him a better moveset, or drop Falco. Issac...meh. I really don't want another swordsmen in the game. Trace, much like Ridley, seems overpowered. Maybe a boss...but not a character. 4th guy...I don't know who the hell he is! Ok! I didn't say pit, I said PT short for Pokemon Trainer whose real name is Red. Blue's pokemon would be Blastoise, Bulbasuar, and Charmeleon. Claus can use his sowrd and the PK attacks he knows(btw Claus is the Mask Man). Geno is from Super Mario RPG.

Toad wouldn't be a good character. He would be the equivelent of Ridley being in Brawl, which Sakurai laughed at because he's just too big. Toad is just too small, and you'd have to have a HUGE imagination for his moveset, or else his basic moves would be like Jiggilypuff's. Plain and generic. (i'm not talking about special moves, i'm talking about basic A moves)

I have two problems: one, Trace or any other Hunters besides Sylux are a terrible idea. Sylux only because there's a possibility of him appearing in a future Metroid game. Ridley is really the only remotely plausible Metroid character.

Second, you should have one more third party, either Geno, MegaMan, or Crono, but the most probable is MegaMan, as the only reason he wasn't in the last one is that Nintendo was mad at Capcom.
