Unfortunately this game is awful IMO... It might look good but trust me it sux.

I you haven't played 'em yet i suggest that you should play Resident Evils. They are not nearly as scary as silent hills but i still like them even more than Silent Hills.The two newest Resident Evils are more like action games than survival horror.

this game was TERRIBLE. the graphics are awful, the gameplay is basically walking around. the scares are just cheap jump scares, no actual terror. apparently the character you play has turtles for feet because of how fucking slow you walk. DO NOT BUY

Oh no, I love a game loaded with scares. :) Looks like a ton of fun for me. I've played just about every survival horror game known to man and if this scares me, it will be a treat. I'm so conditioned at this point that nothing scares me anymore. So hopefully it is overkill and is really scary, that would be just great. :)

THIS is Proper Horror. The kind of terror that makes you jump at the smallest things.

You don't need blood, guts, and a dude with a knife to scare people. That's just over-compensating.

For Proper Horror, all you need is utter darkness and wierd shit happening.

Throw in an implement for those two things and you have something that will inspire a Primal Fear in someone that a Slasher cannot even come CLOSE to creating.

Fear of the Unknown + Unexplained events + Disturbing image = Fear

not intending to boast about anything, but neither scared me much at all. there were some disturbing moments, but they're not that bad in honesty. plus, the later games of both series i felt were too combat based, so that made them less scary too. had fatal frame 4 been released outside japan, i think that that would have blown the two of them out of the water due to its lack of combat.

Holy mother of fuck.. that sound at the end really ruined it for me. To have the grudge makers involved is one thing.. To create it just like the grudge spirit.. that third movie was a fucking joke! The first was nice, second got lame.. and I just had to laugh so much during the third one.

The third one was done by an unexperieneced director (Worst movie i've seen in years) . The first grudge not the american remake the original japenese film "ju-on" is considered to be one of the scariest movies ever made. And to know that the director of ju-on and grudge 1 is the director of this game well i have good expectations. So far its turning out really well unlike most other horror games out there that rely on guns, big monsters and little children
