2000s Japanese music is pretty decent (I recommed Angela Aki, Ken Hirai, Every Little Thing, flumpool, Porno Graffitti, Shiina Ringo, skoop on somebody, WaT, RIP SLYME, SunSet Swish, Sukima Switch, Base Ball Bear, UVERworld, Arashi, and this is just a snapshot: there are loads of others who've made great songs)
(But stay away from the anime/game music crap. The singers who sing them are usually talentless apart from looking cute)
wow I cant believe u said that 80's music was good but a little sketchy at times but the 60's had late doo-wop to the early vietnam era music. Sorry but I just cant agree with you
ummmmm i never said the 80's music was sketchy at times and no one but people that live there likes Vietnam and anyways i think you replied to the wrong person i think you meant to say that to someone else
There was some great music in the 60's but there was a lot of crap as well .I recall clearly as a teenager lamenting the end of the fifties which were pure magic - the decade that gave birth to rock n roll and influenced all that followed. Not many people talk about the fifties now - maybe because those who lved through them are no more - have gone to that great dance hall in the sky - a-wop-bop-a-loo-bop.
As you said many who were raised on the great music of the 50' or early 60's have passed on. Many of the great preformers of that era are no longer with us today. However that does not diminish the great influence they had in the "Early Rock Era". I'm 62 and have found YouTube which is just fantastic. You can pull up all the Stars of muscical history from back in the 50's or 60's that brought us such great musical memories.
Not sure if it's the right decade but my favourte oldie is Del Shannon "Runaway". I'd love to live back then! Work in a diner and spend all my wages on a truck and records! Sigh xoxo
Nothing can bring back a memory like these old songs. In these few minutes I remembered Bob, the beach, Butchs GTO, Mc Donalds 25 cent burgers, Dances at the auditorium, Gail, Chinese fire drills, Youth club, Jims dune buggy, & drag races..... Thanks Twodeez!!!!
excelente recopilacion de temas,me trae hermosos recuerdos, ojala hagan un recopilacion de videos,y no solo fotos, por favo.
FELICIDADES.
