Those crawling animation are avaible with mods but thats just stupid because you are incap means you can barely defend youself.

@ZydrateCupcake its hidden in the game files, you need to use the model viewer from Authoring Tools to view them.

The hunter was originally supposed to hang upside down like spider man but valve took it away for some reason. Maybe the developers saw that it gave motion sickness or something like that.

The crawling would be useful and I can kinda see why Valve didn't give the hunter ceiling abilities. The hunter's pounce from the ground is deadly but coming from the ceiling is just cheap. It still would be preety neat though.

i have once got that hunter first person pounce animation. i was cheating i saw a survivor on wall i got him. then it happend. i didn't got switched to thirdperson. i saw it in firstperson. But only 1 time it happend. i have player l4d now 2 years.

the ceiling idle was neat. the hunter's long claws could dig into the ceiling and pounce survivors from up there. thats epic

What I thought would be cool, is that if they kept crawling, you can crawl up to a wall, and sit up by it, and use your primary weapon and other things. Or you could even pick yourself up when on a wall. And, maybe shoot the smoker with very bad accuracy when you're constricted. Wish you could still crawl.

Dude, that first person hunter pounce thing is from the beta i think, do you notice how the arms look different? A modder has to make something that lets you go in firstperson, and see you mauling someone to death.
