I was in a HS production of this play in November and it was the best experience of my life. When you spend 7 weeks for 13 hours a day every day at school to put on this production, you find out that you can form close relationships with people you never even talked to before. I would gladly put on this production again. It was the best few performances of my life and the songs, choreography, relationships and memories won't ever leave me
@thespian1466 Oh, my holy diety! Right?! Raul Esparza was absolutely and utterly impeccable. Every single time someone says the all-famous "Raul Esparza has been nominated for every possible Tony for a male actor!" I just say, "And he would have won for Company if every voter had been sober that year!"
I saw curtains in NYC in 2007. I loved it! How lucky I feel to see it in the same weekend when I watched the US open men's final at flushing meadows. cant forget that trip.
Everything before 1 min 45 sec is setting up the climax. It's not as if they can just come on stage and blow their load right away. Have some patience. Lordy!
From 2 min 55 sec to 3 min 16 sec, it's just awesome.
Though I'm still bitter about DHP winning the Tony over Raul Esparza, I'd like to see this show if and when it goes on tour...just to see if it's any good.
Have you seen the show? Don't judge it off of this one clip, when you have no idea what it's all about. You'd be saying the opposite if you actually see the entire show!
long drive south 55, you can go suck it. cuz this show is amazingly funny. and is very well put together. i have seen many shows in my days and i have to say this one has the best dance scene (that away, this away) i have ever seen in my entire life. 7 mins of full, HARD, dancing. it was awesome. so dont judge that quick
Just saw Curtains tonight on broadway totally amazing though I havn't seen a bad musical yet but I loved this one and would recomand it to anyone the songs, music and story line are all so well put together.
Even though the show seems like a bunch of random Kander and Ebb songs strung together by a simple mystery plot, I really liked this show. It has a great cast.
Who plays Carmen in the Broadway version.. She looks familiar?

The choreography is amazing! :)
I love the lady playing Carmen! Those last notes are great!!
I actually didn't like David Hyde Pierce in this and him getting the Tony for it and not Raul Esparza for Company is a rip off!
Personal opinion. . .

It definitely is a good show, don't worry. And even though Raul Esparza probably should have won, DHP was very good in this role.
