Richbee that's all very well, as a Hebrew Christian though I can tell you it's not about the "one returning", it's about what you do with your life while you are here. Otherwise it's all about you, not about God's will. If all there is is getting to Heaven, what is the point? There's MUCH more to it than that. Being a Christian isn't about saving yourself, it's about showing compassion the way Christ did, by comforting the afflicted and afflicting the too-comfortable. That's what He did.
Richbee, would like to communicate with you some about scripture &the meanings of words. I feel your passion&have my own, but I also have some deep revelations the Lord has given to me that expand on what you've said here.
I will say this here though, remember that we are all the children of God, and we are all supposed to emulate the positive aspects of that. There are no "pretenders" when it comes to prophets. They all have truth to tell, all God-given, not always" perfect".
While I don't believe in the concept of religion or god in any way, I at least find the comfort in these kinds of words that make people want to believe.
A good video and I'm a fan of the score you chose!
You just might believe in "god" whether you realize it or not. And "religion" has nothing whatsoever to do with faith. Faith is the point, religion is a man-made thing. The difference is profound.
Don't let the failures of "religion" deprise you of the beauty of faith dear one.
When 'Abdu'l-Bahá was addressed by the name of prophet, he answered, "My Name is 'Abdu'l-Bahá. My Reality is 'Abdu'l-Bahá: and Service to all the human race is my perpetual
Religion.... 'Abdu'l-Bahá is the Banner of the Most Great Peace ...The Herald of the Kingdom is he, so that he may awaken the people of the East and the West. The Voice of Friendship, of Truth, and of Reconciliation is he, quickening all regions.
That is what I believe too, that service to the human race is what matters!! And really, this is what all but a few distorted faiths teach! I find that various faiths have more in common than not, but we humans have so many "add-ons" that distract us from the core teachings!!

Spare me your religious bible bashing lecture for another time. I'm late for my satanic ritual.
