you can use any color. just make sure your hair is spread all over it so you can't see the color...that's why i liked to used black so its not too noticable if the hair shifted around for some reason

You can twist it around the bun. If your excess hair is long enough to braid, braid it and wrap it around the bun. It looks pretty too! LOL. haha You go POOLEE!!! GOOD LUCK WITH EVERYTHING..I hope this video helped...i chopped my hair off in bootcamp cuzz i didn't know how easy this was!!!

Yes its a calf length sock. I would say use about 3 or 4 depending on how long your hair is...i also used fishnet stocking. it works pretty good too!
