Funny thing.

The "Christian" gentleman holding the sign mentions a passage from the bible, John 5:5, and says something to the effect of "God hates all workers of inequity."

I checked in my Gideon's bible (only one I got!), and lo and behold!

John 5:5 "Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years."

No hate, maybe I miss heard, 5:25, nope no hate, only 21 chapters in John, so, no 25:5.

That's something I cant stand about the GOP either. They give Christians such a bad rep. We're supposed to lead people to Christ - not use our faith to exploit the government. Nowhere in the Bible does it mention that Jesus wanted us to use his gospel in such a foolish manner.
