  • What snare and snare heads are you using?

  • At 0:58 sounds like you're playing After Midnight by blink-182 even tho this video has been out since 3/27/2010 and the song 'After Midnight' has been just about four months now :D

  • The dog is chasing his own tail. LMAO

  • The dog barking totolly webt with the beat

  • Are the coated ec2's better than clear

  • You are hell good for 4 months! hahaha

  • man im so lucky i got this kit from my local music shop brand new for 330!

  • I had the same problem with that snare head you're using, if its still the same snare that came with the set. If so, replace that snare head with something other than that, and make sure your bottom snare head is "hazed."

  • no offense, i know you're probably way better now but.. Zildjian A customs and a Maple drumset in your first 4 months! haha, I wish I had a job, i'm only 15

  • Dog :D

  • Thanks, I use ec2 coated from evans

  • Good playing for a beginner my friend. I just bought this set myself...what kind of heads are you using...the ones I see on yours don't look stock.

  • where did u get this set? please reply back

  • I love it when the dog spins around and barks as soon as you start playing

  • Loving the dog in the backround! :L

  • Try tightening up your snare, and adding more fills, and alternating crash cymbals

  • For only 4 months, you're doing really good :)

Nice kit and keep up the good work :)

  • you need a ride cymbal....why would you get all those other cymbals and not even have a ride?

  • i know you may be beginner, and i saw your other vids, but i think it would've been smarter to get 2 crashes and 1 ride, rather than 3 crashes and no ride. just saying.

  • This kit was $649.00

  • Your kit sounds good. Im a beginner drummer and I want something that sounds this good. I was thinking of purchasing one of these. Are they affordable?

  • Very good for 4 months~!@!

  • Thanks man, but that aint a ride, its my 18" fast crash.

  • I think you may be a lot more comfortable if you place your ride much more lower, it is better; and having those cymbals, men hit them with power dont be afraid, they are not going to break. You are doing really good, keep on going like that and you will improve a lot! Check out my videos, I have a pdp fs :D

  • 4 months and got all those cymbals?? ive been playing for 1 1/2 and have 3!!

  • lol @ 0:15 the dog notices the camera

  • 4 months?! pretty good for only 4 months of playing! keep it up, and about the high pitched toms...well it's up to you if you want them that high, I've known a couple of drummers who like it that way but my fave it low ;) keep it up man you're doing great!

  • Don't pay attention to your dog, that works.....

  • nice dogs! :D

  • Nothing to be mean about, you are amazing for four months!

  • THUMBS UP FOR SPINNING DOG AT 0:16! :)

  • very nice kit man and good skills for only four months. you should invest in some drum mics to really get a nice sound for youtube

  • I hope your all shit about only playing for 4 months, ive been playing for 3 fucking years and your better than me!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hey

im looking at getting a new kit

was thinking of the pdp m5

im 6.1 ft do use think this kit would be too small for me

  • Dog: Oh God hes playing again, and he bitches when I bark! hahaha jk man nice video.

  • great for 4 months, impressive, agreed with the high pitch toms.

  • your toms are really high pitched i think.. mine are tuned way lower and they sound good i think check my vids

  • @jennafan14 Hey, are your heads 2 ply? and if you use a drum dial, what are your settings for the heads? I set my top head at 75 and resonant at 72. any looser and they sound like crap. Thanks Darrin

  • @4mudski yes they are. and yes i do use a drumdial. number 1, are your heads properly seated? and i use my tom heads at the lowest recommended tension for batter, and the reso head i put 1 number below it (75, 74)

  • @4mudski the batter and the reso need to be the same pitch are they? your toms are really high but the heads are already streached to that pitch so if you try to tune them lower they wont sound good. unless its under 1 full key turn for each lug.

  • @4mudski honestly the pitch of the toms is down to not only personal preference but the heads as well.

  • @4mudski hey bro is the other way the bottom head has to be a bit tighter than the top head. thats why ur toms sound like u said. i usualy tune my bottom kind of tight and the top i give it half a turn and sumtimes a litte bit more.

  • Yo, the dog barking at the one point sounds sweet with the beat, man. haha.

  • Man, it's cool!

  • @josiem9999 Thanks

  • Very good for 4 months man, keep it up! Nice kit sound, too
