This has been left out of our history books, school children are told a different story. I was a teacher for 21 years and yes, there are many lies and half truths. The powers in high places don't want young people to know the truth about history but it's out there for those who hunger. The churches also omit the bloody "christian" history. If you like I can recommend some other books: 1491, American Theocracy among others.

Should that be:
"Listen [Thanksgiving] is a stupid holiday"?
Things were not always peaceful before the whites came and no one alive today butchered those Indians or committed those atrocities.
Other than that I agree with what you said. It is brain washing. They are trying to gloss over the injustices and create a holiday where everyone comes together.
I didn't kill those people, you want me to feel guilty about it?

@lararoyalcrew i agree except for one thing its not a holyday. The holydays are in Leviticus 23.. All the these Christmas and Thankstaking day is all form pagan and murders...

The intro is good, but you miss the point once you get to the stuff about Thanksgiving and the Indians.
No one will dispute that there were many killings on both sides with the whites and Indians.
But Thanksgiving is more about the bountiful harvest the Pilgrims enjoyed after suffering harshly in their first years living in the wilderness.
