Because of that, he and his wife gets special treatment, like spending holydays relaxed at my house in Algarve (and other stuff), and for me, NOTHING! Only when my father needs me (fix or build something), he calls and invites me to go there. FUCK!

I last went to sri lanka 18 years ago when I was 12 and I remember the toilet issues you mention... the holes in the groundwere not nice. I went to the big ass rock too!
Actually, eating with your fingers (hands, whatever) is pretty smart.. It saves $ on utensils that are unnecessary. As long as you wash your hands prior to eating, it's all good... I learned in the middle east to eat this way AS WELL AS sit on the floor w/family & friends to enjoy a meal together... I actually prefer it. We have a lot of useless shit here in western culture...
FYI washing your ass with water is much more sanitary than just wiping it with a piece of paper :/
