Should just SHUT UP, go back to be productive with your lives, and maybe, just maybe, you morons can see that he is doing what he loves to do...saving us, from ourselves.
You see Paul Watson has a reason for why he does what he does. Yet every day people critize him over nothing. And it takes a hero to just ignore all that society throws at him. People who take there time to hate Paul Watson, critize him, call him a rascist, should just STOP. Paul doesn't carewhat you think, I don't care what you think, NOBODY cares about what you think. He's just a person doing his job. So maybe you people out there who waste your lives, hating a guy who doesn't affect you---
@flemmarinn That is because the idiot in this video claims responsibility for sinking two whaling vessels in Reykjavik back in 1986. They claim "victory" for such illegal activities, and play victims later, so stupid people on our planet pays for his future illegal activities. Watson got eventually kicked out of the country.
This is one of the most touching interviews I have seen from an enviroenmentalist. The whale screamed like a woman. Whales and dolphins are the only animals that have their own language, a language we humans have not been able to decode. It is sad that Japanese whalers put their country and people on such low levels, all because a bunch of impotent freaks looking for impotence cures anywhere in the oceans. They will eat and kill anything to find this "cures". Tragic, misguided, low human beings
i just hope that another tsunami will kill all japanese races, no defend needed here cause history has thought us that japanese are one of the baddes races in the world after the jew.
@spartandy nah, i'm not japanese. But i've eaten whale meat before. If you say they're sick people, then don't eat chickens they're living things too.
Guys Guys Come on lets me honest. Japan does a lot of scientific research.
Problem is the research is on how many whales they can kill and get away with it long term. They can't do non lethal research and analyse the effects of killing whales has on population. They also do non lethal research as well.
I have no problem at with any of it except it is done in a Marine Sanctuary for whales. Pretty ridiculous to research killing whales in a no kill sanctuary. Defeats the purpose.
@uncleJohann The research doesn't NEED 1000 whales killed. That was a political deal made. See Japan refused to accept the 1986 moratorium. USA put pressure on Japan (with the Pelly ammendment) to accept it and remove their formal objection. Japan was forced to accept but part of the deal was the IWC looks the other way and allows more "research" than really is required. Classic carrot and stick diplomacy.
The Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary changed all that though.
Watson pretend to protects whales because he wants your donation money. He is also interested in being the centre of his crap organisation at the same time.
@drkuroneko can you bring any proof to that claim? what about when he sunk the sierra in the 1970s he had barely any money and he managed to get a ship to ram this boat, if he wanted money he could have made it so many other ways heck he could just say that he bacame pro whaling and japan would be filling his bank account
@EarthandNature Watson pays himself good salary ($91.5K in 2007, source Charity Navigator). He has been doing that in the past ten years (Canada press).
In 2000 Sea Shepherd reported income of $129,749 from consulting fees however there was no indication what sort of consulting this was, or for whom it was performed.
In 2002 the Sea Shepherd Society passed out $35,000 in grants. Despite IRS requirements to do so, the Society did not divulge the recipients of those grants (Canada press).
@drkuroneko So, you're yet another japanese forum troll trying to dig up dirt on Paul Watson and the Sea Shepherds because they are exposing to the world your multi-million dollar illegal whale poaching operation in the S. Oceans?
Fine, let's talk about the FACTS!
The FACTS: Paul Watson is paid $80,000 a year to run a non-profit that takes in over $4 million a year in grants and donations. Most Executive Directors of similar-sized orgs take in $125-150k per year--source: Charity Navigator
@drkuroneko For many years Paul Watson did not draw any salary from the Sea Shephers, even though that was his full-time job. Now that he's not too far off from retirement, I'm sure he thought it would be nice to draw some salary (much smaller than other Executive Directors of similar sized orgs) and he's been transparent about the fact that he's now drawing a salary. Do you think that someone should work full-time for free? Do you work for free?
@drkuroneko You're so funny! Actually, you're quite sad, too. Apparently, you've taken it upon yourself to try and badmouth and smear the SSCS anyway you can--do your japanese whale poacher masters pay you well for you efforts?
So, Paul Watson now takes a salary---oh wow! That's just SCANDALOUS!
So, you SS haters claim he's a "fake captain" but then when it suits you you claim that he makes double what a "qualified captain" makes? My father is a captain, $150k per year 25m private yacht.
@MsLisaB333 Oh, your father is a captain? I know that rcc1111's daddy is Japanese from Japan (so he claims), but the idiot speaks no word of Japanese. Let me do the same. My cousin is a captain, and he makes $30k/year. My uncle dropped out of university, like Watson did, and he makes $20k/year. My great grand father was organising a charity, and he didn't take a penny. And the list goes on.
@EarthandNature In 2003 SSCS made a grant of $8,000 to OrcaForce International, a group started by Watson’s ex-wife. Even though the SSCS’s tax return shows this $8,000 amount as a contribution, at the time, the OrcaForce address was listed on the society’s web site as a Sea Shepherd International address.
@drkuroneko The FACT is that there is nothing wrong with one nonprofit gifting money or assets to another nonprofit. Many nonprofits share office space and staff in order to minimize overhead and maximize the money that goes to their cause. You are implying that there is something sinister here--and you're just blowing hot air.......
@MsLisaB333 " there is nothing wrong with one nonprofit gifting money or assets to another nonprofit. "
There is everything wrong when the recipient of the money is an organisation that has no clear identity beyond the founder of the organisation, who happens to be Watson's playmate ex-wife.
@drkuroneko If you have proof of illegality, please present it! The SSCS books are audited every year, and they always pass with flying colors. Additionally, just recently the non-profit watchdog group Charity Navigator conducted a thorough and comprehensive review of the SSCS financial dealings, and they then awarded the SSCS their highest 4-star rating.
@drkuroneko The CFP article ALLUDES to illegality but offers no direct evidence, only speculation. Given that SS haters like you, and the sealers, and so many other are out to "get" Paul Watson and the SS, don't you think their books are well scrutinized? Why no charges filed 6 in the 6 years since that article was written? Hmmmm....
I notice you had no comment on the Charity Navigator recently awarding the SSCS their highest 4 star rating for integrity and transparency...
That is not a job of a press. Police and the court of the law determine whether paying a ex-playmate ex-wive who is not doing anything for the organisation is legal or not. Oh, you do not get to make the decision, either.
@MsLisaB333 There are millions criminals out there who are not charged. What is your point? Are you trying to say that just because the idiot is not charged, he is innocent?
@drkuroneko I'm saying that Paul Watson and the SSCS are very high profile with lots of detractors who would like to shut them down, and yet year after year they pass their financial audits and Charity Navigator--a nonprofit watchdog group--recently awarded the SSCS their highest 4-star rating after an extensive review of the SSCS financial records.
It's clear that you're just another SS hater who spends his time trying to dig up dirt on the SSCS to smear them.....
@MsLisaB333 After you have been told that Japan does publish papers in reputable academic journals, and you know nothing about science, you bring up another lie.
"1. they lie about conducting "research" when really they are commercially whaling"
@drkuroneko your an idiot if you really think japan has to kill hundreds of whales for reaserch .. we research humpback whales every year from hervey bay qld .. never having to kill 1 ... we dont even have to dart whales now as they loose a bit of skin when breaching called sloth which can be dna tested ... wake up to your stupid beliefs your the fool
@mrbooyeah too bad for you. Japan does conduct research, and they publish the result in reputable academic journals. Leave your whales alone? Do they carry Aussie passport or something? How about you stop killing your national symbol animals first, before you order others how to live their life?
@drkuroneko.. humpback whales spend halve there lives in australian coastal waters only going to antartica to feed .. they are born in australian waters ... leave our whales alone japan / come whale watching free of charge on our boat in hervey bay qld WHALE WATCH CAPITOL of the world .. then argue about killing whales for reaserch
Over the years several instances have been identified where assets have been moved between Sea Shepherd and OrcaForce and although OrcaForce appears to have a Canadian address, investigation did not uncover any registration or structural information on this group in either the U.S. or Canada.
There are many more that are listed in Canadafreepress, and the list is not all-inclusive.
@drkuroneko Why don't we talk a little about the sham the japanese whaling company Kyodo Senpaku is trying to foist upon the world.
For starters, KS is owned by wealthy japanese businessmen some of whom have ties to the japanese mafia the Yakuza.
Second, in the words of one former IWC member: "It's the same crew on the same boats owned by the same company killing the same number of whales in the same place and selling the meat to the same markets as before the whaling ban took effect."
@drkuroneko " 'ties to the japanese mafia the Yakuza.'
Have you ever heard of sourcing your claim?"
Lol, you're funny! Underworld crime figures usually go to great lengths to launder their money and hide their legitimate business affiliations. However, it has been reported in the Japanese media the businessmen associate with the Yakuza have an interest in Kyodo Senpaku. Again, do you're own research!
@drkuroneko Why don't you tell us why the japanese whale poacher front group the ICR routinely claims that their "whale research" program is in compliance with the IWC, when the truth is that:
1. The IWC has authored over 40 resolutions condemning Japan's lethal whale "research.'
2. The japanese whale poachers are killing whales in an IWC created whale sanctuary.
@MsLisaB333 ""whale research" program is in compliance with the IWC"
b/c the IWC convention 1946 Article VIII clearly allows that Japan is doing. If any countries have problems with it, they can opt out of the IWC, since the participation is only voluntary.
"IWC created whale sanctuary."
which is only on commercial whaling. Sanctuary, BTW, is in contravention of the ICRW on which the IWC is based and is therefore "illegal." It has no scientific or legal basis, but pleases idiots like you.
@drkuroneko "b/c the IWC convention 1946 Article VIII clearly allows that Japan is doing."
The IWC isn't a convention and it wasn't around in 1946........
"which is only on commercial whaling."
The japanese whale poachers ARE commercial whaling--they're just to big of cowards to admit it......
The fact is that the IWC is the ONLY intl organization empowered to regulate whaling. The SOWS sanctuary was passed by a vote of 23 to 1, ONLY japan voted against it.........
This was a typo, for which I apologize. IWC should be read ICRW.
"he japanese whale poachers ARE commercial "
It is not your job to make that kind of decision.
" regulate whaling. "
Good point. The IWC REGULATEs whaling. It does NOT ban it.
"a vote of 23 to 1"
Another good point. It was set up against the advice of the IWCSC, which is in contravention with Article V(2) of the ICRW, on which the IWC was established.
@drkuroneko "Sanctuary, BTW, is in contravention of the ICRW on which the IWC is based and is therefore "illegal."
WRONG!
Article V Section 1 of the ICWR:
"The Commission may amend from time to time the provisions of the Schedule by adopting regulations with respect to the conservation and utilization of whale resources, fixing (a) protected and unprotected species; (b) open and closed seasons; (c) open and closed waters, including the designation of sanctuary areas."
@mrbooyeah Don't get me wrong, you dumb asshole. I have no argument. What I have is the fact that they publish papers in peer-reviewed academic journals, which you conveniently ignore.
BTW, you'd better spell "you are" as "you're" so that you do not sound like a total idiot you are.
@drkuroneko Yes they sometimes do publish articles on whaling, but its very rare that they do. Also many scientists can get the same amount of data from taking non-lethal skin samples.
@drkuroneko thats 5 papers a year when they kill over 1000 whales. other whale research programs that are non-lethal can produce the same amount of info without killing the subjects
@drkuroneko um no dumbass scince 1970 he has been protecting seals dolphins whales and do you think he does it for money? hes ben arested before and has gone seperate ways than greenpeace with "donations"
instead paul watson actually does something and he has some fucking balls not like your fatass trolling because you dont guve a fuck
OK let's all put aside the legal and illegal for a moment. What about right and wrong? Is it right to kill thousands of whales, whether to eat or for science? Are there zero other sources of food? Is there a way to conduct research without killing the subjects? It's proven that whales are already struggling to survive. Why add to the problem by cutting their numbers? These are points no one can refute (unless strictly to be hateful or combative)
Sea Shepherd is the greatest and bravest conservation society in the world. I support Paul Watson and the rest of the Sea Shepherds all the way. I will support the Sea Shepherds until the day I die. And that's not for a long, long time. Go Sea Shepherds.
Yeah, understanding each other through some sort of eye communication is a special skill that these idiots were born with. The asshole actually does this for money.
The main problem is that laws only count if you're caught. Some big mafia guys are sent to jail for some bill he didn't pay. If it comes to it that's what may need to happen
I've been watching whale wars since it first came on, was interested in green peace before that. I WON'T BUY ANYTHING I KNOW COMES FROM JAP KILLING WHALES PAN IF EVERYONE WOULD stop buying their products till they stop killing whales big business would jump behind the whales and just maybe we'd make some progress!!
@AnimalPlanetTV Hey !!! I like what the SeaShepherd is doing........I was wondering if there was any job abord the SeaShepherd......I want to make a difference in saving the Planet !!!.............Reply ASAP !!!
@m1y2sti3cal well one thing is youre agreeing to risk your life for the whales, and you not paid on the job. theyre usally docked in aussie idk much about recruitment standards, etc about them
@Sekmeth7 i agree with you , and if it is for research ** why the fuck do they need that many whales tell me , jeeze, what a re they finding bye cutting the whales apart, what , ugh stop the killing !
@jessicavm While I agree with the sentiment...That's not entirely true. Killer Whales for example. But I'd say most kill to ensure survival, rather than just for food. That's more accurate.
Paul is such an amazing man. It amazes me he doesn't get more funding. Also, it amazes me that they still allow whaling under the guise of "research". This has to end!
@sanjayGee yeah doing ILLEGIAL whaling. lieing to kill. and there r many foods that they eat their, not just whale, the only reason is bc they make big money off of the. fuck them!
@Chillarz Truth is, we aren't anywhere near the fittest, we're just the most equipped, I know that I nor any other human could survive a whale, shark, bear, lion, tiger... attack. We do need to kill, but not as much as we do. Developed countries have a disproportionate supply of meat in regards to the amount of people.
@SodapopSays but tht is what makes us human but he has got a piont theres a video of a banned advert type in australias most racist advert 1 japanese person gos in 2 a sushi thing thn he asks for the full whale experience they harpoon him thn shock
WOW look at that beautiful water and icebergs. Thank God for people like Paul Watson and the animal activists that go with him on the high seas. People do need to take stock in what we have in the world and also respect that other living beings have right to enjoy what God has made as well. Some people do eat animals, but we as human beings don't need to venture to everything and everywhere for food. Be humane and also be considerate of others.
this really upset me :/ ....someone explain to me why people do this to animals as amazing as this , i really dont understand why they want to harm such a beautiful creature ? someone....

@drkuroneko So, if the press was right in their claims, and the articles were published far and wide, how come no charges have ever been filed???
MsLisaB333 1 year ago
@MsLisaB333 There are millions criminals out there who are not charged. What is your point? Are you trying to say that just because the idiot is not charged, he is innocent?
drkuroneko 1 year ago
@drkuroneko I'm saying that Paul Watson and the SSCS are very high profile with lots of detractors who would like to shut them down, and yet year after year they pass their financial audits and Charity Navigator--a nonprofit watchdog group--recently awarded the SSCS their highest 4-star rating after an extensive review of the SSCS financial records.
It's clear that you're just another SS hater who spends his time trying to dig up dirt on the SSCS to smear them.....
MsLisaB333 1 year ago
@MsLisaB333 " high profile with lots of detractors who would like to shut them down"
where is evidence for this? Watson has been sued for his use of SSCS money or something?
drkuroneko 1 year ago
@MsLisaB333 "e just another SS hater "
Good point. Do you ever wonder why there are so many people who hate Watson and the jerk's crap organisation? Give you some hints:
1 Watson is a proven liar.
2 Watson pollutes the environment.
3 Watson cannot stand it when he is not the centre of the attention.
4 Watson is an idiot.
5 All of the above.
drkuroneko 1 year ago
@drkuroneko Millions of people hate the japanese whale poachers because:
1. they lie about conducting "research" when really they are commercially whaling
2. they violate the ICW's ban on commercial whaling
3. they kill thousands of whales INSIDE A WHALE SANCTUARY
4. they sell the heavy-metal contaminated meat to school children
5. they brutally slaughter thousands of dolphins each year--stabbing them repeatedly with spears until they eventually drown in their own blood
Nuff said........
MsLisaB333 1 year ago
@MsLisaB333 After you have been told that Japan does publish papers in reputable academic journals, and you know nothing about science, you bring up another lie.
"1. they lie about conducting "research" when really they are commercially whaling"
I am sorry, but I think you are a fool.
drkuroneko 1 year ago
@drkuroneko your an idiot if you really think japan has to kill hundreds of whales for reaserch .. we research humpback whales every year from hervey bay qld .. never having to kill 1 ... we dont even have to dart whales now as they loose a bit of skin when breaching called sloth which can be dna tested ... wake up to your stupid beliefs your the fool
mrbooyeah 1 year ago
@mrbooyeah too bad for you. Japan does conduct research, and they publish the result in reputable academic journals. Leave your whales alone? Do they carry Aussie passport or something? How about you stop killing your national symbol animals first, before you order others how to live their life?
drkuroneko 1 year ago
@drkuroneko.. humpback whales spend halve there lives in australian coastal waters only going to antartica to feed .. they are born in australian waters ... leave our whales alone japan / come whale watching free of charge on our boat in hervey bay qld WHALE WATCH CAPITOL of the world .. then argue about killing whales for reaserch
mrbooyeah 1 year ago
@EarthandNature
Over the years several instances have been identified where assets have been moved between Sea Shepherd and OrcaForce and although OrcaForce appears to have a Canadian address, investigation did not uncover any registration or structural information on this group in either the U.S. or Canada.
There are many more that are listed in Canadafreepress, and the list is not all-inclusive.
drkuroneko 1 year ago
@drkuroneko Why don't we talk a little about the sham the japanese whaling company Kyodo Senpaku is trying to foist upon the world.
For starters, KS is owned by wealthy japanese businessmen some of whom have ties to the japanese mafia the Yakuza.
Second, in the words of one former IWC member: "It's the same crew on the same boats owned by the same company killing the same number of whales in the same place and selling the meat to the same markets as before the whaling ban took effect."
MsLisaB333 1 year ago
@MsLisaB333 " ties to the japanese mafia the Yakuza."

MsLisaB333 1 year ago
@drkuroneko Why don't you tell us why the japanese whale poacher front group the ICR routinely claims that their "whale research" program is in compliance with the IWC, when the truth is that:
1. The IWC has authored over 40 resolutions condemning Japan's lethal whale "research.'
2. The japanese whale poachers are killing whales in an IWC created whale sanctuary.
MsLisaB333 1 year ago
@MsLisaB333 ""whale research" program is in compliance with the IWC"
b/c the IWC convention 1946 Article VIII clearly allows that Japan is doing. If any countries have problems with it, they can opt out of the IWC, since the participation is only voluntary.
"IWC created whale sanctuary."
which is only on commercial whaling. Sanctuary, BTW, is in contravention of the ICRW on which the IWC is based and is therefore "illegal." It has no scientific or legal basis, but pleases idiots like you.
drkuroneko 1 year ago
@drkuroneko "b/c the IWC convention 1946 Article VIII clearly allows that Japan is doing."
The IWC isn't a convention and it wasn't around in 1946........
"which is only on commercial whaling."
The japanese whale poachers ARE commercial whaling--they're just to big of cowards to admit it......
The fact is that the IWC is the ONLY intl organization empowered to regulate whaling. The SOWS sanctuary was passed by a vote of 23 to 1, ONLY japan voted against it.........
MsLisaB333 1 year ago
@MsLisaB333 "he IWC convention 1946 "
This was a typo, for which I apologize. IWC should be read ICRW.
"he japanese whale poachers ARE commercial "
It is not your job to make that kind of decision.
" regulate whaling. "
Good point. The IWC REGULATEs whaling. It does NOT ban it.
"a vote of 23 to 1"
Another good point. It was set up against the advice of the IWCSC, which is in contravention with Article V(2) of the ICRW, on which the IWC was established.
drkuroneko 1 year ago
@drkuroneko "Sanctuary, BTW, is in contravention of the ICRW on which the IWC is based and is therefore "illegal."
WRONG!
Article V Section 1 of the ICWR:
"The Commission may amend from time to time the provisions of the Schedule by adopting regulations with respect to the conservation and utilization of whale resources, fixing (a) protected and unprotected species; (b) open and closed seasons; (c) open and closed waters, including the designation of sanctuary areas."
Got it?
MsLisaB333 1 year ago
@MsLisaB333
Article V(2) of the ICRW clearly states that sanctuary must be based on scientific finding, and Southern Ocean Whaling Sanctuary is not.
drkuroneko 1 year ago
@drkuroneko hahaha your an idiot ...,your arguments are as weak as japans excuse to kill whales under the name of reasearch !!!!!
mrbooyeah 1 year ago
@mrbooyeah Don't get me wrong, you dumb asshole. I have no argument. What I have is the fact that they publish papers in peer-reviewed academic journals, which you conveniently ignore.
BTW, you'd better spell "you are" as "you're" so that you do not sound like a total idiot you are.
drkuroneko 1 year ago
@drkuroneko Yes they sometimes do publish articles on whaling, but its very rare that they do. Also many scientists can get the same amount of data from taking non-lethal skin samples.
EarthandNature 1 year ago
@EarthandNature In reality, they constantly publish papers. Between 1989-2009, they published some 100 papers.
drkuroneko 1 year ago
@drkuroneko thats 5 papers a year when they kill over 1000 whales. other whale research programs that are non-lethal can produce the same amount of info without killing the subjects
EarthandNature 1 year ago
@EarthandNature 5 papers a year is hardly "rarely," and therefore, you earlier claim about publishing rarely is false.
"search programs that are non-lethal can produce the same amount of info "

OK let's all put aside the legal and illegal for a moment. What about right and wrong? Is it right to kill thousands of whales, whether to eat or for science? Are there zero other sources of food? Is there a way to conduct research without killing the subjects? It's proven that whales are already struggling to survive. Why add to the problem by cutting their numbers? These are points no one can refute (unless strictly to be hateful or combative)
