OMG so many memories I wanna cry! Can't believe I haven't been to the Philippines since '98! Pasig City used to be my old stomping grounds when Brent Int. used to be located in Manila. SM Mega Mall still exists! I remember insane traffic getting to Makati too. I miss 2 & 3rd grade when my parents & I would shoot out to other parts like Bagio, Corrigodor, etc. :( Never thought much till recently. Used to live in B12 of Casa Verde complex. Dexter's Lab, MTVAsia, & Spice Girls ruled my world!
Ortigas family is where the Ortigas center got its name...
maybe the Ortegas family is different than them... i cant seem to find even in google the surname ORTEGAS... i only get ORTEGA... so, i believe Ortegas really is different than Ortigas... it's known worldwide that Ortigas center is Ortigas, not Ortegas... try googling it... you'll be enlightened...
ortigas center, greenhills, makati.. some of ma fave places in metro manila.. can't wait this summer of 2010.. 4 months to go.. i'll conquer again this areas.. btw im sirc.. tunay na anak ng pasig!

it is a family name- the Ortigas family...
