  • Amazing work!

  • This is outstanding sculpting my friend.. I love your past works which have given me so much help being new to sculpting and polymer clays... Just wanted to ask a question... In your other video you used a mixture of super sculpey, sculpey 3 and normal sculpey... Have you now changed to this sculpy firm? If so how do you find it? I think i may feel better using it myself with it being firmer.... Thanks... Gerard..

  • @gedtasker

i still prefer my original recipe. I ordered a few sculpey firm a while back. I did not have time to sculpt and after awhile on the shelf, they turned really hard. And that is exactly why i still prefer my own mix. Sculpey firm can be very hard to handle if they are not fresh. And it tends to loose that waxy feel after a while and your sculpt gets a little powdery and cracks easy if left in the open for a while. But some people swear by it. :)

  • Keep up the awesome art !!! Your friend , Anthony

  • @SolidSnakeInMyPants Thanks you! :)

  • I first saw your video series on wolverine and was blown away! I have subscribed to your channel and have watched the other videos that you have liked as well. You truly are a skilled artist and watching your videos has reignited my passion for art and human anatomy. Thanks for posting and know that your work is an inspiration.

  • @bellhammer Thanks you! :)

  • @bibol382

    wow...thanks! :)

  • Amazing work. Thank you for taking time to do this! Beautiful hands ;D

  • @RavenRof

no.. my hands are not beautiful.. :/

  • Do you use a different oven to bake your sculptures or do you use the same one you cook food with?

  • @oneupmario

Try not to use the same oven you use to cook with. The residue and fumes will linger in the oven. Try to use a dedicated one. For me, I normally boil my sculpts. It will not brunt from over baking

  • @juliankhor Thanks Julian!

  • @juliankhor how did you boil it? in the boiling water or above it?

  • @jintat87

    totally submerge it.

  • @juliankhor it will harden in the water??? will it as hard as baked? will it out of shape or shrink when boiling?

  • @jintat87 boiling water is constant 100 degrees Celsius..it will harden slowly and will be as hard as baked minus the burns. will not shrink

  • @juliankhor i see.. thx for the respomd :D you inspired me alot.. 1 last question.. how long should i boil it?

  • Amazing! had my jaw open throughout the video,,, loved the instrumental as well!

  • @johnnypodfreak777

    Thanks you :)

  • Just great.. really wonderful.. Always fun to see how other artists do things.

What kind of clay is that?

  • @clayguy1

    Thank you :) ....

It's sculpey firm. It's a kind of polymerclay. It gets hard only when oven baked. It's a pretty nice medium to work with. If you do not plan to make casting and molding out of it, you can sand and prime and paint on it. Hard as rock when baked.

  • Muiiito bom!!! gratulations from Brasil!!!

  • @alverix26

I can't read barzilian.. but if it's something nice THANK YOU :).

  • @alverix26 Sorry Julia, i said " Muito Bom " ( very good ) wonderful work, congratulations!!! I also do art modeling in his spare time, but use oil clay. Seeing you work with supersculpey will return to practice, is a beautiful art!

  • @alverix26
