music you have chosen, the song is divine and It captures the drama and the adventure that Apollo 11 underwent.

I trully admire your work,I believe that you should do another video in July 2011-20'th of July that magic day in the history of Mnakind.

Again my sincere congratulations--Alex from Romania Eastern Europe.

  • I am currently working on a project, but I am not sure if I will manage to have it ready in time for July 20th though... Maybe...

Again thanks for the feedback, this was one of my first editing projects i worked on.

The video has been disabled in a lot of countries though, due to copyright problems...

  • Thanks... But as I have said before, all I did was edit allready good stuff, and adding some music. Still I am proud of the end result.

    Thanks for the positive feedback...

  • this is epic,magestical beauty

  • Awesome.

  • this video is breathtakeing you have done such a good job on it..(:

  • Thanks!

  • wasn't this from the mini series by tom hanks called From Earth to the moon

  • Yes, that is correct. If you see my details on the video, you will se that I have used footage from three different episodes of this series, and the IMAX film "Magnificant Desolation" to depict a lunar landing. My work has been purely editing. All the hard work has been done by professionals.

I used footage from the episodes "Is that all there is", "Miles and miles" and "Mare Tranquilitatis" From the series Earth To the Moon.

  • It's amazing how well the music and the video go toghether i love it

  • Glad you enjoy it!

Would you beleive the video has been disabled in Norway where I am based... Copyright issues I guess... Like I make any money from this clip (haha).

  • where did you find the IMAX stuff, I've been trying to get my hands on it

sorry, had to say that, THIS IS WONDERFUL (faved) 5 stars ect ^^

  • Hi, thanks for the positive feedback... You will find the IMAX stuff on the film "Magnificent Desolation", it's a documentary and some other stuff narrated by Tom Hanks...

  • no, i've seen this, but not for a while, what i want is, WHERE DO I FIND TH DVD/ONLINE PLACE TO WATCH THIS

  • Hi again

Sorry, can't help out there... I dont know... I used my editing software to extract the sequences I needed from the original DVD, and got the files I needed that way...

  • Very nice editing job, and great video.

  • Thanks!

  • Love the music! I'll use that on my signing comment this morning.

  • Dude your video is so good i watched again and again for 2 hours after that i fainted for about 5 seconds i dont know my mom told me that

  • Wow! Talk about positive feedback! Thanks, glad you liked it.

  • Epic Video

  • Glad you liked it... It was my first real editing project in Adobe Premiere Elements...

  • So you mean its like no actual real moon walking footage here?

  • Most of it is taken from the TV-Series "From the earth to the moon", and some from the IMAX feature "Magnificent desolation", but one bit is from Armstong's actual brodcast... the part where he says "I'm at the foot of the ladder..."

  • Epic.

  • Thanks, but I really just re-edited allready great material... It was fun though!

  • well done Rokvam .... all the best to you.

  • Thanks!

  • Magnificent desolation indeed

  • Fun! Very nicely done.

  • This Video Is Truly Amazing. It brings A Tear to my Eye, Shivers down my Back! Excellent Job! Please Make More!

  • Thanks a lot... Always nice with good feedback!I am currently working on a documentary about the race to space... when it is done, I will post it!

  • music da vinci code?

  • Yes... The peice is called "Chevaliers De Sangreal" and it is used in the movie when the main character walks from his hotel, trails the rose line to the museum, and realises where the grail is hidden...

  • Beautifully done!

  • Thanks... It was fun work!

  • Very well done! The music fits perfectly.

  • Thanks!

  • very very nice!!!

  • Thanks...

  • Great video. What is the name of this music?

  • Thanks... Glad you liked it!

The music is "Chevaliers De Sangreal" from the DaVinci Code soundtrack.

After hearing this track, I just had to edit something to go along with it...

  • i watched this movie at spacecamp like 3 moths ago!

  • My movie, or the original movies / series i edited from?

As I mention in my description, the original film material is borrowed from Magnificent Desolation and The series From the earth to the moon (the episodes Mare tranquilitatis, Is that All there is, and Miles and miles)...

I have just re-editet the sequenses of a lot of scenes, mixed them together, added new sounds, and the music score from The DaVinci Code...

    Did you like it?

  • yess it was awsome!

  • That was pretty cool. I just watched an episode of Star Trek Voyager called "One Small Step". It was about the Voyager crew finding an ancient Mars command module called "The Ares IV" from Earth and made by NASA that was piloted by Lieutenant John Kelly in 2032 in our future that pulled into an anomaly that Voyager re-encounters it centuries later in the Delta Quadrant of our galaxy, the Milkey Way that Voyager was thrown 70,000 light years from Earth at the beginning of the series.

  • Thanks... Haven't seen that episode, but I am a fan of Star Trek myself!

  • Very cool dude - This must have taken some time to edit. Very well done, and a great historical montage of the moon landing... and I loved the music... perfect for this clip.

  • Thanks for the positive feedback...

I worked on it for about a week (after work, and after putting the kids to bed). I heard the music while watching the ending sequence of The DaVinci Code, I just knew I had to edit somthing to go along with it. Beeing a space-nut, my choice of material was easy...

  • Very cool dude - This must have taken some time to edit. Very well done, and a great historical montage of the moon landing... and I loved the music... perfect for this clip.

  • why is it all covered in foil? or coloured foil???????/

    ( I HATE THIS MUSIC!!!!!)

  • The foil is actually mylar film, and it was used to insulate the descent-stage of the LM (Lunar Module) from the RCS (Reaction Control System). It was very light weight, and was sufficient, as the LM only was designed to land on the moon, not to reenter the atmosphere. As for the music, well we have different taste, that's all...

  • cool

  • Thanks...
