I want to like this, but there's one major problem. (Disclaimer: I've not yet read the book, nor researched whether this is a grassroots book or an astroturf effort, so my opinion may change). When you even begin to give credit to the U.N. for any serious kind of role in world peace, you lose credibility. The U.N. and other unaccountable globalist bodies are a major factor in the wars that continue to this day. Without them, real peace might be achieved.

If I may add something, it would be to say that the textbook you co-authored with Professor Jon C. Pevehouse-"International Relations" (latest update: 10 Edition, 2011) is a must -have for any student who wish to have a firm grasp of "Intenrnational Realtions", but also for anyone who wants to understand what's going on in the World around him/her.
