  • omg that looks so yummy!

  • Hello my fellow Canadian! I don't really cook at all, but I really enjoy watching your videos and it makes me want to learn :) Happy cooking xx

  • cool

  • Am From Egypt And I dont think we have chicken broth here , i dont even know what that is :D what can i use instead of it ?

Hope U Answer Me :) Love Ur Videos BTW <3

  • @nOkKzYwOrLd If you simmer a chicken in water and vegetables for a couple of hours and then remove them leaving the liquid only, you have chicken broth.

Like soup without the stuff in it.,

  • Question: Hello, I tried to make the Chicken Lasagne Rolls, but after I boil the lasagne pieces and let them cool, they stuck together. How did you get yours to be so nice and easy to work with?

  • @emilyhf3 The trick is to cool them down with cold water. Drain off the boiling water and fill the pot (with the noodles) with cold water, repeat until the noodles/pot/water is cold. Leave them in the cold water until you are ready to roll. (Let water drip off or pat lightly with paper towel first).

Otherwise you can drain off the boiling water and butter the noodles to keep them from sticking (this may make them slippery however)

  • Max is ADORABLE!!! This recipe sounds really good! May be trying this tonight but using flour instead of corn starch since a sauce made with cornstarch gets watery if you reheat it (thinking leftovers!!! YUM!!) :o)

  • CHEESE CHEESE CHEESE!!!!!!!! i love it!

  • Can you make walnut honey shrimp? I would like to see if it is good and i trust your opinion.- Tiffany

  • @chikipr Thanks, I think you'll like it.

  • Lovely recipe.

Where can I find these lasagna rolls? Traveled back and forth between krogers and heb and couldn't find any. D:

  • @JiggaWithAttitude Look for lasagna noodles, they can be purchased dry (usually in boxes here) then cooked in boiling water. These are noodles that are intended to be laid flat in the pan and stacked (like lasagna). I'm just rolling them up. They should be with the rest of the pasta (spaghetti, macaroni etc)

We don't have Krogers or heb. Are they grocery stores?

  • @yoyomax12 Yes those are grocery stores. For some reason, those spaghetti rolls look fresh from the freezer and silly me thought I could find them in the frozen section. sigh. I'll go check the pasta section when i get the chance. Thanks.

  • They look fantastic!!! So neat looking in the dish aswell and a great idea making the sauce to spread over the end.

  • looks yummy

  • @PaisleyGiraffe Max would be making fires in there every day if he had his way!

We did several jokes of the day around the fire, should be good for a bit!

  • Those look yummy Tammy. Nice joke Max :)

  • @saphyreXice Thanks Meg!

  • makin' me hungry just looking at it. :)

  • @rach85256 This is a nice recipe. I may make it for company some time, it is a bit fussy and time consuming for a "regular" everyday meal.

  • @yoyomax12 yeah but you make it look good enough for the fuss. i really enjoy watching your recipes videos. do you have any budget/kid friendly recipes you can share???

  • i am definetly trying this out;

looks to yummy to miss (:

  • @sunshineeforever96 Thanks! If you try it, tell me if you like it. :)

  • this looks so good. this would make a good meal for company...thanks.......your vids make me want to cook........that is a major thing these days! hhaha...thx for sharing

  • @trvlbuggy You are right, this is a great recipe for company. It is a bit to time consuming for everyday dinner though.

  • Awesome recipe..so versitile (exscuse the spelling)...I love all ur videos..

  • @nkr1695 Very versatile! You can modify this many different ways to suit your tastes.

  • Max made a great marshmallow!! This is a great recipe Tammy! I will have to try it. I love red pepper!

  • @wildheart5 I also love red peppers, when they come on sale I buy a bunch! My favourite way of eating them is just sliced up and eaten raw like candy, YUM!

  • I would ruin my diet for :P

Looks amazing Im carving some now

  • @kawaii22devil This is not diet food! But as far as lasagna goes, it isn't bad, the cream sauce has not cream in it and there isn't much cheese in it either.

  • @yoyomax12 I know this is not a diet food..I said I would ruin my diet for this lasagna ;D

  • @kawaii22devil Yes you do clearly say that, I should read my comments more carefully :)

  • Yummy!

Great recipe, I will try this one soon.

    Thanks ;)

  • @daysioc Thanks Daysi!

  • That looks heavenly!! I will be making this for sure. I'm hungry now after this.

My email is my yt username followed by an @ and then gmail and then dot and then com.

  • Another awesome video. Looked awesome. I ve been going thru a spell where I don't want to cook. Whats up with that lol?

  • @cozzyk I have MANY spells where I don't want to cook. Trying new things keeps me going!

  • Mmmmmm looks good!

  • @SueVlogs You are welcome!

  • @SueVlogs Thanks Sue!

  • Thank you for sharing.

  • @schatz3wife You are welcome, I like to try new recipes and I'm happy when they turn out okay!

  • That was a perfectly toasted marshmallow!!! In terms of the recipe, Tammy, is there anything you cook that doesn't look positively delicious?!?! Have to try this but might go for a red sauce on top since I'm not a fan white sauces. Thanks again for sharing your amazing creations. I'm so thrilled each time I notice you've posted a new video :)

  • @feliciajuly You could easily use a red sauce instead of a white one in this for sure. My son doesn't like the red sauced lasagna (like you this is my favourite), so I try this for him. He even ate a bit of the spinach. :O

  • I've always been very weird about white-ish sauces but that looks really good. How many did you eat? How many did Max eat? How many did your husband eat? They look like they are generously sized. My guess is Scott would probably eat two or 2-1/2.

  • @silverscreamgrl I would use parmesan cheese (the fresh grated kind) in this instead of the swiss next time, it would be better. If you have side dishes with this, veggies, salads, bread etc. One would be plenty for an average adult eater.

If this is the only part of the meal, probably two.

Max ate about half of one because there was spinach in it. Hubby had two, I had 1.5.

I kept a couple for leftovers (lunch next day) and froze the rest for an "at work" dinner for me in the future.

  • @silverscreamgrl I overcooked the lasagna noodles and they were kind of soggy, and they didn't absorb much of the sauce in the oven. Making them aldente or just under that would make them suck up some of the sauce while in the oven and they would have been better.

  • Oh yummy! I really like this and I think everyone would like it here too - it has a mild similarity to an Alfredo sauce, but maybe less saturated fat. The combo of swiss and mozzarella sounds good - and gets more 'melty' which is usually desirable. Yum!

  • @thizizliz I would recommend using fresh grated parmesan instead of the swiss (if you like that cheese) As far as saturated fat goes, this sauce isn't too bad. You could cut the butter at the beginning in half easily, and just mix the cornstarch in water before pouring into the pan.

  • @yoyomax12 Great suggestions, thanks. I'll bet I could use fresh spinach too. We almost always have a block of parmesan and use it a lot - I can't imagine going back to the green can of dried stuff! :-) The more I eat 'real' food, the less I can tolerate processed. I could turn into a food snob! LOL

  • OMG Tammy that looks SO good!

Glad you guys are enjoying some warmer weather up there again. :) It was around 75 here yesterday in Toronto.

  • @binsk Yes the warmer weather has been wonderful. We still had snow around last year at this time!

  • Those look so good! I miss pasta:-( Good call on the cheese blend!

  • @1DRock37167 Are you on a low carb thing?

  • Not really on an official diet but Im trying to limit them and sugars and fats and it seems anything with flavor too:-)
