I've been voicing increasing concern, but people's perceptions are lagging behind the situation. People not already affected are now only getting to "OK, so it's going to be bad and it might affect me." Even my wife expresses some frustration w/ my views, as I talk about us maybe not being able to go on a planned vacation for in March, or not being financially capable of keeping our kids in private school - no matter what sacrifices we make. It's hard for people to imagine everything changing.
