extermination is putting the whole team into respawn, say if you get overkill, which is like 3 kills within 4 seconds of each other, if you hit the 4th kill at like 12 seconds the first person would have already respawned

no an exterm is where you have at least an overkill and all members of the other team are dead and u must kill that last 1 alive before any1 respawns on the other team

Wrong, complete fail. An extermination is where you get an overkill or higher, where the entire enemy team is dead at the same time (none alive). You don't have to kill all of them, e.g. 6v6 team flag, you kill 4 with an overkill while the other two have already been killed by a team member, you'll get an extermination.

I had an Overkill in MLG and it didn't give me an Exterm, but the were all dead, same thing happened with my Team Mythic Overkill.

When I say 'they were all dead', I mean that not a single one of them can have respawned by the 4th kill. Even if they were all KILLED by you, one of them probably respawned before you got the overkill, in which case you wouldn't have got an extermination.

I know what you mean, everyone on the other team is still dead when you get the Overkill, and thats the way it was, I got 1 stick, then 2 kills with one rocket, then a beat down on a weak guy. Unless they literally respawned instantly.
