  • I thought the musician was Mexican soccer player Adolfo Bofo Bautista. He seems his twin brother..

  • mahatma gandhi play guitar! xD excellent work!

  • @44killerdog btw, IM A PROUD PUERTO RICAN!

  • @sotonemuel can you give the tabs, gtp or something else?

  • @44killerdog =)

  • i like the speed!

    sounds great :)

  • @velspir THANKS!

  • absolutely beautiful!!!

  • Hey , :) I would like to know how to play the moment 1:56 . It sounds very good , and I was looking for that for longtime :O . ( sorry for the mistakes , I'm french and ... :/ )

    Thanks !

  • I saw a video of yours playing boleros with a requinto very nice, I can't find it now.

By the way, Are you in Puerto Rico?. There are terrific guitar and requinto players in PR.

I used to play 2nd guitar with a great requinto player, puerto riqueno and did a few concerts in Florida. Now I live in the Philippines and I can't find anyone to play with.

    Best to you.

  • Nice done.

  • Hey i was wondering if u have tabs for this song???

  • From all versions....this is still the best I found. Serious skills man. That beginning is something u made up?

  • @danielsarch No but the chord voicing are probably different.

  • @danielsarch Thanks!

  • bn bueno eso papa!

  • fabulous

  • good

  • You're a great guitarist who gives me lot of inspiration. Can you put others videos in that style please ??

Can you play at 440 Hz it's easiest to copy ^^. Great work

  • This is great! but it seems that you're struggling with the tempo! try to slow it down a notch and it'll be Perfect!

    Excellent work

  • Thanks. I know, its kind of fast. Just trying to make it a bit funkier. It is really a slow bossanova like it is originally written.

  • flawless! bravo brother!

  • that was great, how did you get that sound at 1:06? something about that really took me by surprise!

  • what a great version!!!

  • thanks!

  • Buenisimo! great! what key or keys did you use? it's really nice to listen to :) congratulations

  • Gracias! D minor but it is a soprano guitar (requinto). If you play on normal guitar it would be A minor.

  • Well played man!

  • thanks

  • real talent...bravo

  • Q bonito :)

  • gracias

  • Nice

  • Bravo!

  • Hi ! five stars without hesitation, particularly for the second part of the song. I suppose that it' s an improvisation, cause never heard that before, but I've liked. BYE !

  • Yes, it was spontaneous improv. I was fooling around to see what would come out. But I guess people like it! Thanks for watching.

  • estupendo

  • phenomenal bro,

  • Spectacular! Great arrangement and great playing! I just wish I could hear it with a bit more clarity.

P.S. what is it you're doing at 1:06? It's fantastic - I've never seen anything like it

  • I'm pretty sure that he is doing a roll.

To see a great example of this technique look at the video for the song Tuna Salad Sandwich by Isto - it's on youtube.

  • I almost forgot!!!

Check out Isto's cover of Black Orpheus!

    It's something else!

    Saludos

  • buenisimo! diez puntos. i love this arrangement!!

  • Gracias hermano.

  • do you have tabs for this one?

  • This is my own arrangement. I got the melody by ear; so I came up the with this version.

  • Nice arrangement!

  • Hell Yeah..

  • I like your style;)

  • ahh, just wondering.

did ya get tabs for this song, or ya learned it and changed it up?

    either way, sounds niiiiicceeee!

  • Yea I changed it. It is actually much slower. But I want to make it close to a samba instead of bossanova.

  • You're talented, Cuz. Keep up the good work...

  • thanks

  • Interpretacion hermosa, sentimiento puro. Me parecio estar corriendo por la fabela en Rio. Eres un gran artista

  • Gracias! Muy amable.

  • great job! i'm currently learning this song at my college guitar lesson.

  • Thanks! I hope you do well. This is my own arrangement. So you will probably have a slightly different version.

  • Dude this is amazing. Beautiful! Your guitar is tune up to G - damn! You've to be playing some really light strings for the neck to not have tension.

  • Thanks! I am actually playing a REQUINTO guitar which is like playing a soprano high alto guitar. That's why the guitar does not suffer from extreme tension.

  • Requinto, eh? Where can I get a guitar like that?

  • If you go to Mexico, or any part of the West Coast USA you can get one easily. It is mostly used in Hispanic countries. You can also get one where there is a large Hispanic population like NY or Miami or L.A. But go online and search requinto.

  • Very nice........I used to play black orpheus but you give me sooo many ideas .....thank you. I will learn your style if you dont mind........do you play autumn leaves, Blue bossa or funny valantine??? post them if you can I would like to hear you playing these songs thank you.

  • I actually recorded Autumn Leaves the version of Barney Kessell. Just search Nathan Soto Autumn Leaves. Let me know if you like it.

  • nagyon komoly oda basz very nice you are the king

  • Very nice version. A bit too fast but great indeed. Roy.

  • Oh, I thought you had seen this one already but thanks! I'm getting scared of you and your cuatro. You keep getting so much better. I think you have surpassed me in many ways. Can't wait to hear your version of Seis Chorreao when you complete your interpretation of it.

  • Ohh great sound and nice playin´.

  • Very nice, very beautiful sounding, perfect arrangment. There is just one complain your are too stiff. Please tell me have you made and transcription of that arrangement?

  • very nice man. love ur guitar too... what brand?

  • This is a handcrafted requinto guitar straight from Mexico. It was made by a humble guitar maker. Thanks for your comment!
