I remember watching this game and immediately thought it looked similar to the Scott Stevens hits on Eric Lindros and Paul Kariya. In recent history it is almost identical to the Mike Richards hit on David Booth. You know what, none of the hits I mentioned garnered suspensions. I remember watching this game and immediately thought it looked similar to the Scott Stevens hits on Eric Lindros and Paul Kariya. In recent history it is almost identical to the Mike Richards hit on David Booth. You know what, none of the hits I mentioned garnered suspensions. Matt Cooke has given some cheap shots for sure and I don't condone them. However, Ovechkin likes to lead with his leg with reckless abandon but nobody cries foul because he's Ovi.
