i absolutely love that Mine Shaft song from DKC2. It's one of my top 3 favorites from that game for sure. and yeah your right, this song is definitely derived from it, no doubt.
Sell the greatest games like Super Mario Galaxy!? Ugh! Now that person who does that is STUPID to buy an another game that is lame or boring is just that dumb! People like me should keep the greatest games and play it again with their hearts demand!
Is it me, or is the snow affect in DKC1 MUCH better than the snow affect in this game? D: Idk, the snow in this game just bothers me. Cause the snow in the first DKC almost MADE the level so much more atmospheric and epic, as well as the transition of it. In here, it just kinda appears, and then it just randomly dissapears. x_ x
my friend sold 25 ps2 games for 60 dollars to buy one xbox 360 game, and he even had to get another 10 bucks since it was 70 dollars for 1 game. what a waist. Especially for a dumb game.
i NEVER sell my games. but if i have a game that my niece and nephews like that i dont i would give it to them. but other games that i own or about to are either ones that interest me or are sequals of games i have or games that are mario games. you wouldn't beleive how many mario games i have and played.
Buying and then trading in your games is an easy way to play all the latest releases without feeling rushed, renting however has a time limit. Personally I don't rent or trade in. I play my games, (often over and over until they break). The only thing I traded in where my Sega Saturn games after my Saturn broke, and now I really regret that, because they're hard to get hold of now, and where some of my favourite games.
I don't like selling games. I don't like saying good bye to them. I don't like renting them either and I prefer borrowing them from my friends, but still, if the games are very good I don't like handing them over because later I remember the game and I feel like I should play it.
on your selling rant, I'm reminded of this one thing I've heard and pretty much accept, the principle that you can't appreciate something until it is gone, like how you think a game is terrible and you sell it, but then later you have an urge to play it again
I've had these same experiences, Most people will disagree but I think glover for the N64 was a very fun game as a child and I wanted it back after I sold it. I also think that borrowing games from a friend is a much better choice than buying and selling, or renting, that's what I did with Super Mario Galaxy.
im planing on trading in Super Paper Mario and Mario kart wii for $40 off of Galaxy 2. ive beaten paper mario tons of times. ive also done everything in kart and am getting tired of it, but if i do get the urge to play it again my buddy down the street has it :) so its all good.
Excellent rant topic for today. What's funny is that when I bought Super Mario Galaxy 2 at Gamestop on the release date, it included a slip where you can get $30 back for selling it back after you have completed the game. I don't even know why they would have that with how amazing Super Mario Galaxy 2 is.
I also regret selling Yoshi's Story one time at a garage sale because I felt like playing the game again after watching your Yoshi's Story LP several months ago.
my explanation to buying and selling games:
my friend buys and sells games aswell. when he has 2 games he sells them both to afford a newly released game. basicly u save tons of money

Oh, I loved renting games back in the day. Every Friday after school I'd go to Hollywood Video and get something.
Nowadays I keep games like I keep books.

The only reason I'll sell/trade a game, I absolutely did not like it or had no desire to play it ever again
