@BallerSkier Seriously I have a 40 dollar Hamilton Beach I got at walmart and it will blend the crap out of everything I want blended. Other than that I don't know why people just can't eat the crap. Make a soup and salad with a piece of fruit for desert. Same thing. People act like they get some magic vitamin mix buy drinking this. Fact is you get a lot less from drinking it. Food takes time to digest.  When you drink it all like this your body just pisses out about 90% of the vitamiins

Question for everyone:How long did you have the machine before it completely broke down? I've had mine for a few months and it leaks but it still works great. I don't abuse it, i put the vegetables in one at a time and it works well.

Do not I mean do not get the montel health master. I have not heard one good review on it yet and I have looked through over 20 different review sites. Save extra money and buy a vita mix, it worth it. There is one other blender that is comparable to vita-mix 2hp turbo, and that is the Omni V Blender and its about 275 and the company has been in business for 15 years. I was about the buy the health master before i found out about the omni

Oh boy, I just got mine today. It blends well. I think the lock features are great the top is a bit cumbersome at first but I'm already use to it. I just prayed over mine. I hope it doesn't start leaking because that was a big financial investment for me right now.

I had to curse out their customer support. They wanted my 70 mother to do tech support on the machine, like checking safety switch by clicking on it with a butter knife. I asked if there was a reason why safety switch is covered? They said no, JJ at Tri star, you better send that money back. We sent the second burnt motor piece of crap back. Buy Oster, Kitchenaid, Blendtec, Vita-mix instead. Don't waste your money.

I bought one, and it works awesome, but now it leaks wicked bad. It sucks, because I have not even finished paying the $270.00 on it yet. I also got a call the other day from a guy that could barely speak english, asking me to buy another one for $150.00. When I said I did not want another one, he offered me a lower price of $120.00, I feel this was such a rip off.

This Machine is a fraud, if you notice the Jack Lalanne Healthmaster 100 blender has been taken off market because the containers would leak badly after only a few months use.

This MONTEL blender uses the same container ! Thats why they only warranty it for 3 months, because after that it LEAKS

I saw a demo with Vit-A-Mixer @ Sam's Club and when they announced the price *about $400* the crowd watching the demo quickly dispersed. I'm sure the Vit-A-Mixer is MUCH better than the Healthmaster, but $400 for a glorified blender is WAY too much

I'm glad you mentioned that Jack Lalanne fomerly pitched the Health Master. I remembered seeing the infomercial but couldn't find the product anywhere- I suspect that if Jack wasn't satisified with the product he would have dropped it- so I imagine the makers turned to Montel to pitch for them.

Montel did y'all wrong. The Health Master is definitely junk it will break or leak after a month.. .as for the warranty, good luck they will try to wear you out first before you EVER get a refund. Check out the GreatBlender or Vitamix instead. Seriously. And sorry to those of you that actually got suckered into buying it. It really sucks when you get taken.

Jack La Lanne used to sell his Healthmaster 100 Blender which was ALL over tv on late nite infomercials.

The motor was excellent but the Container would always leak after 3 months use , sometimes sooner.

Sure enough the container was only under warranty for 3 months. Complaints were so bad and numerous that the company STOPPED making it after only 7 months !!!!

Montel uses same container as Lalanne , THIS MACHINE IS A SCAM

Yep, this montel Blender is basically the SAME one that was sold a few yrs ago as the " health master 100 Jack La lanne blender '

They had a warranty of over 10 yrs on the Motor, but only 3 Months on the container !

everyone who bought one found out why quickly as the Containers were Junk and would ALWAYS wear out and leak immensely after only 1 month of use

and the company didnt even back up that warranty ! the model was discontinued

@inline4play Well the motor for the 5200 (costco/sams club) is made in sweden. It is the first time that the motor has been made outside the country for the vitamix. I believe that the motor for the VP3 is still made in the USA. I have had my 3600 for about 20 years. 3 times a day. Soups , cake, peanut butter, bread dough, ice cream etc.

Beware!!!! I just unpackaged my montel health master and after just two minutes of use, it started to smoke and took a crap! Here is what I blended, two cups of water and two apples. Turned it on, and stated to smell smoke. I turned and looked, it was the blender that had smoke and smelled like the motor took a crap. I grabbed it and ran outside because I feared that it would catch fire. I'M RETURNING ASAP! BEWARE!!!!

My Healthmaster just came in the mail last week. This machine is a beast!! Like a blender on steriods. My favorite drink: I mix apples, blueberries,cantaloupe,carrots­,spinach,grapes, peaches...it's the bomb!!! I reccomend the Healthmaster to anyone.
