  • @TracyLSnediker To doublecheck open "start menu" and write "media center".

If this fails, press Windows key + R and write: %appdata%\ehome\ehshell.exe

This is the file to media center. (I got Win7 Pro)

  • 3:34 "it costs nothing"

    >Windows 7: $179.99

    >Ubuntu 10.10: $0.00

    >Both can play DVDs

Not sure what you mean there, as the program, as you say is bundled with the operating system, and therefor is part of the price.

Also, love using the FBI copyright warning as the idle test.

Oh, and I don't remember having any problems downgrading to windows movie player 10 back when I was using windows xp; but I might be remembering wrong.

  • Windows Media Center works great in windows vista but it lags in windows 7. Can anybody tell me why that happens.

  • so it dose not pay you any money to older to watch tv shows.

  • Still impossible to use. Why can't I get all my channels? I only get broadcast TV? Where's Fox News, Disney, and Nickelodeon?

  • We've already been using Windows 7 for about a few weeks now and its amazing. If anyone you know wants it, you can easily get it from Windows7FreeDLXcom (replace X with . ) 100 % free.

  • windows media player in windows 7, is so awesome.dont need vlc anymore. it plays EVERYTHING now without having to download codecs or changin any settings. great job microsoft

  • @redneckboy6983 I totally agree! Before Windows 7, you would need additional codecs or even a DVD decoder to play DVDs or other files using other media players. After I upgraded from Windows XP, I thought I would still need a DVD decoder to play DVDs on my PC. Good news is I don't, which saves me money! Yay, Microsoft!

  • somehow the video lags for some reason...

    but thanks for the info

  • cool video
