My recording studio comrades (Noah Dunbar and Darin Stull) recorded this with mostly my gear on behalf of Weston House Recording and I mixed it at the studio. There was no auto-tune, distortion, filters, or synth fx on his voice; at the performance or in the studio during mix. Just some slapback/verb and layers upon layers of compression and EQ. With such a good singer and drummer on a well-written and arranged song, the mix just comes together nicely! -Weston Ray, Weston House Recording

He said himself, "Music comes first, lyrics come second." Nobody listens to Nirvana for the lyrics, they listen because Cobain is an amazing musician and a decent singer.

Cobain wrote a lot of bullshit for the most part, once in a while he had some great lyrics, like in Polly off of Nevermind. I never acknowledged Cobain's lyric writing as good or bad, but the lyrics of this song definetly sound like something Kurt would have written
