Wow looks like it works for farely short hair (which i have) Well lets say medium length. =] I noticed I LOVE updos, but usually cant achieve em' because of the length of my hair. yes a 1 inch woudl be good but i mean its up to you if you want bigger curls then go bigger. And as for the how to curl your hair .. i totally know what you mena it takes practice.
