  • @warofsalvation thanks man im trying to get into the planet of the apes but its a confusing story sometimes

  • This is confusing so ceaser the son of cornelius has a son named Cornelius which is the main character in the other films. This is a prequel to planet of the apes so Cornelius in that had birth to ceaser? Someone please explain.

  • @saycheese121 Cornelius had a son named Caesar, who had a son named Cornelius named after his father, who died. It isn't the same cornelius from the first 3 films, he's just named after the one from the first three.

  • The first of the series ( planet of the apes) is excellent, but the rest of this sequel are crap, illogical and very annoyng.

  • Thanks everyone. I found the movie. I saw it posted somewhere. The boy who played the lead role had a very active career. Probably the most recognizable role he played was in Spies Like Us, with Chevy Chase. Regarding the doctor, I was asking about the wrong guy.

  • CAN SOMEONE HELP ME? Severn Darden starred in a movie I saw in the seventies. It was where he played a psychiatrist who was seeing a troubled boy. When the boy would dream something, it would come true. The doctor manipulated the boy's power by hypnotizing him into dreaming what the doctor wanted. The doctor made the boy dream that he gave the power to the doctor. In the end, there was a power struggle between the boy and the doctor. Does anyone know what this movie is called?

  • Yes, it was a pbs movie. I think it was an ayn rand story. I have a copy on dvd, cant think of the name now. Email me if you still haven't found the title

  • he was in this film m8

  • awesome.final battle looks like stalingrad !!!!!!!!:))))))))

  • wait a minute! if in the second planet of the apes the world is destroyed then why do the apes try to take over the world?

  • three apes escaped the earth's destruction in a spaceship. a shockwave created a space time rift that sent their ship into the 20th century. so the plot is non-linear. on a timeline, the order of the planet of the apes movies is as follows: 3,4,5,1,2.

  • so if i buy the collection set I would have to see them in that oder to go with the story line?

  • @kungfuspecial time travel is mighty trippy

  • @drafe007 it gets people every time

  • @kungfuspecial they then died because of those stupid humans

  • @icyboy6 and their stupid bombs

  • @kungfuspecial No, that can't be right. If the Apes took over Earth but accepted mankind's existence in 5, then the planet would have been different in 1 & 2 and there would be much less chance of anyone nuking the whole planet in 2. Then again, Caseer wouldn't have been sent to the past which would have caused 1 & 2 thus repeating events and........oh, time travel is so confusing.

  • @WebVMan It's called a Time Paradox.

But, the truth of the matter is, you have to read the comics that came out after the last movie, where they explain how, after Ceaser's death, things changed between humans and Apes. Also watch the old TV series to get more of an understanding of the progression of the whole PoTA timeline and mythos.

  • wicket cheers

  • what happened to ceasers son?

  • caesar's son is named 'Ishmael', there is a book with the same title, written by Daniel Quinn which is the continuation story of Ishmael. worth checking out. r2020

  • i thought his name was cornillus after ceaser father and the kid was killed by the goriller leader?

  • Actually, you're correct about ceasar's son being named 'cornelius', although if you enjoy the planet of the apes movies, Ishmael, could've been the pen name of cornelius. I believe his book well worth the time reading. Maybe some day another movie! r2020
