Oh my God.

When I just graduated from university, a dog moved in with us. He's lost, a stray wandering around that area, although he didn't look like a stray at all. Dignified face, odd 'square' proportions, the most intelligent dog I've ever seen and the fastest thing ever when he runs. I've never loved any dog more than him. He died while I was abroad, and I've always been trying to find something like him in the mixed GSDs. Now I know what he really was. A Malinois. Thank you so much.

I have one that I love. But, she is a little to hot for my taste and sometimes alittle to aggressive toward my other dogs. Both her parents are working police dogs and her litter mates are in Iraq for bomb sniffing. She is exteremly smart. I'm considering donating her to a police force. No doubt these are some awesome dogs!

My German Shepherd is 7 months and is the full size of a grown lab (60+ pounds) and if he could do this, that would be awesome. I remember one time he tackled me he was so excited. If he did that to someone that was attacking me and knew how to do this, I'd be scared for their safety lol not my dogs

Attack by command 1 was impressive because there was a crowd (distraction) and the perp was hitting the dog with mittens, spinning around and generally fighting the dog off in a real world situation.

The stop command was so effective that the dog could walk around the perp and then return to the handler - who pets the dog as praise (the best way to train a dog!)

I've worked with Avalanche and Bomb dogs (yes, they flinch at the detonation, so do the humans!) praise & play is the best method!

Favourites with the police and armed force. Only Dutch shepherds are valued more by the cops but they are much rarer. Lucky for me i have one right next to me.

Belgian Malinois are used exclusively by the Israeli Defense Forces, and the U.S. Secret Service. My wife has an 8 year old Malinois. He sticks to her like glue. If I ever even pretended to threatened to harm her he would disable me on the spot.  And that is exactly what I want for my wife's dog.

i Have two malinois one police dog and one training to be. I have never had any problems with these dogs, i highly reccomend that you are very experinced to have this type of dog though they have very high drives and you have to be careful to always check if they are hurt they are so hardy they dont even show it if they are hurt! crazy huh??
