haha, love the trailer =P its hillarious, might not be what u want to hear, but i found it funny, since it was like a movie trailer, anyway, looking forward for the tutorial, looks cool!
ive seen all ur videos and there all on photoshop will u be able in the near future to do tutorials in painter but if not can do stuff in photoshop that can be done in painter such as a technique or something like that
@jjsuperspy100 The reason all of my tutorials are in Photoshop is because I only use Photoshop, I never us Painter. I haven't used Painter in probably 7-8 years. Most of what I talk about are basic fundamentals that can be used in any program.
@jjsuperspy100 Some of the brushes might be different and the shortcuts might not be the same, but otherwise the tool shouldn't matter since I cover basic fundamentals.
@daarken I see. Making life easier for people who don't have internet reception. Excellent. Anyway, let know when you're in the area again so we could conduct that video interview. I won't bring the rest nor blow the interview out of proportion in any way, shape or form.
@mercenarybdu Well, the DVDs aren't really for people with no internet, especially since you have to use the internet to buy them. The main reason for the DVDs is because some people want a physical version that they can actually hold in their hand. Plus maybe they don't want to take up the extra disk space on their hard drive with a large file or maybe they want to watch it on a plane or on the road and don't have access to a laptop.
@daarken True. It beats streaming on top of everything else ya mentioned. Its always a real pain to start up the browser each time just to stream and view the content. Especially if the reception is dial up speed and such&such wants to show some art student some of your neat methods off the grid. In addition, the DVD is also ideal for people who aren't highly technologically literate. Most notably people born during the early 20th Century who most know near nothing about computers.
@daarken Oh, I see. But I was just mentioning the YT factor here. Anyway, so practically there are three ways to view your content. On YT, by downloading the content off of your site or by buying a physical DVD. Makes all the sense in the world.
Your new site is great Daarken! Thanks for going through all the trouble and taking time out for sharing valuable knowledge knowledge with others! Even if you are doing it to make a a buck or two extra, it's definitely worth it and then some! Your illustration tutorials are some of the best I've seen on the web. Oh, and thanks for doing such killer art for my bros in Vore! I've known those guys for years, and I was glad when I found out they went to you for an illustration!

The trailer's bombastic form itself is amusing, but the tutorial looks awesome as always. Nice!

@mercenarybdu Actually all my other tutorials are already on DVD. I probably started doing DVDs over a year ago.

@mercenarybdu My digital downloads aren't streaming, you just download the quicktime file and watch it on your computer.
