The two active problems in the philippines are corruption and poverty, this is a reality and everyone's aware of it, but... this is too much and heartbreaking..! I know that the DSWD can take away kids from parents that are showing no love to their kids, by putting their kids lives in danger. And she is taking the risk of her son's life for not taking any positive action.

First we must pray for the stupid mother who felt it is alright to make her son suffer more, so she can make him a livelihood. The DSWD can actually step in and tell the mother either she is going to jail for negligence or agree to get her boy have a surgery. If the DSWD once visited her house once and she still wont agree, the next time they come, they can bring the police with them and file a case against her for negligence and endangerment.

If I sent $???...how much would it take? I would want the mayor or someone to verify it was done and then release the funds...some independent party...so she doesn't say 'yes' and take the money without getting the boy help.

Yes, it's so sad. To think that his mother would rather have him beg, than to save his life. A friend here shot some video of him in one of the internet cafe spending his money playing video games. Pop

I hate to say this but the poor boy begs while the mother collects. No tumor, no money for that boy's mother. If that boy dies, it's his mother's fault. Someone should report her mother to the DSWD (Department of Social Welfare and Development).
