I got a few chuckles out of this, nice preview. As a Canucks fan, this is probably the most unbiased video I've seen so far. It should be an exciting series, and as for the orca, it feeds on Sharks ;)

To answer your last comments... Before entering the NHL the "Canucks" played in the now defunct Western Hockey League (a pro league, not same as current junior WHL) and so, essentially, brought their name with them. As to the whale, yes a previous owner's company was named orca bay, but they drew that company name from the fact that the killer whale is probably the most iconic animal associated with British Columbia's west coast. (The logo's styling is a stereotype of local aboriginal artwork.)

@gfmccann I never understood all the color schemes either over the years. I understand the green and blue since the flag of Vancouver if blue and green, but the Red/black/yellow in the early 80s and 90s, as well as the Dark blue and red.... looked ridiculous.

I don't see how the Canucks are chokers they always loose to the favorites choking is losing to the underdog.Canucks in 6 my prediction.Candiens are there name a Canadien is another word for french Canadian.When the Canucks changed to the Orca logo the company that bought them was called Orca bay sports and entertainment so it's more of a marketing thing.I hope that helps (:

The Orca is a logo because their used to be tons of Orcas In vancouver around the time the logo was produced. As for the term "Canuck"  our mascot was a man named Johnny Canuck who was a political cartoon super hero here in Canada (you can wikipedia him for more info) The Sedins need to get their game faces on because Kesler won't be able to win this Series single handedly like he did against Nashville. I think he had like 15 points in that series? Anyways will be a good one for sure.

I am pulling for San Jose since they eliminated my beloved Kings (who REALLY are the choke artists of these playoffs...the way they gagged Game 3 away). Plus, I love the slight twisting of the knife to my Canadian friends who are keenly aware of the fact that its been 18 years and counting since a team from Canada last hoisted the Cup. Ironically, against my beloved Kings. SMH
